good value and colors

These are pretty and look nice close up and better from far away. The foliage is a bit shiny and obviously fake when you are close but it is vibrant and realistic from a resonable distance. The stems are not the most moldable of other faux flowers I have ordered, as the thin stems do not hold shape. They still are reasonably shapeable though and I look forward to filling some boxes with them in the early spring. I really love the details in the center of the petals and the colors they come in.

Pretty, but you'll need a lot to get the desired look

Three artificial flowers are a vibrant color. But overall the product photos are deceiving, to get the same look and fullness you would probably 6 sets, this one comes with two haning parts and 2 regular ones, but if I want the fullness shown in the photos I would need to buy two more sets and thats just not cost effective. They're pretty but lacking in fullness and not very worth it to me.

Realistic But Small Quantity

I ordered the Lifewit hanging flowers in purple to use in a wicker planter box. I have some other flowers similar to these for fall but without the hanging pieces and find them to be fairly realistic until right up on them. These flowers came packed into a cellophane bag that was then rolled into a tube and taped; they were quite compacted. When I unpacked them, I was pleasantly surprised with the length of the hanging stems: 24 inches or only four inches off the floor in my planter. And each hanging stems also include a few vertical sprigs too. So, I received four vertical-only picks and two combination vertical/hanging picks in my order for a total of six picks total. Unfortunately, it was not nearly enough to fill out the planter box. Even lining them up across the front only, it was a sparse presentation. One order of these flowers will fill a six to 8-inch pot but not something larger.The flowers are well made and show up nicely against the bright green plastic foliage; the foliage is lighter toward the ends mimicking new growth. There are two colors of purple flowers that all have black plastic stamens with some having a little yellow also to mimic pollen-laden anthers. The two tones of purple look very realistic as most blossoms tend to either darken or fade with age. All of the flowers on the hanging branches face down; I wish that some of them faced out because they really do look real unless one is scrutinizing them. I like the way that sunlight shines through the petals giving the translucent effect of live flowers.At the time of my order, the price for six stems was $20. To fill out a 10-inch hanging basket, one would need two orders at the least. $40 is quite a bit for one hanging basket but they are reusable for several seasons. And in a hot, arid environment, these may be less expensive than replacing live hanging baskets several times a year. If they fit within one’s budget, I recommend the Lifewit hanging plants as an attractive, maintenance-free alternative to live trailing flowers for outdoor use.
