Love everything about these blinds

Working with the manufacturer was a dream. After I ordered, I realized that I had ordered “rolling” instead of “gathering” (as shown in my pics), and they were responsive and updated my order right away.They also really do reach out to verify your measurements prior to making your custom blinds, and their instructions for measuring are perfect. My blinds are perfect.They are lined, and the lining blocks out absolutely all light. I have them for my living room and bedroom, and even in the city, when they are closed, it is DARK.They were incredibly easy to install (YouTube videos help to get the idea, which is then very easy to do.)The pulleys are nice looking, and they’re so easy to open/close. We don’t have small children, so I just leave the cord pooled in the sill, but they come with a “keeper” you can install on the wall to keep the cord out of reach/keep little ones safe.They look so nice! I am happy with them every night when I close the blinds. They’re pretty, and useful, and purchase/installation/ use is simple. Worth every penny!

Thinking about Ordering More

This is such a lovely shade. I could tell I would like it through the packaging which gave a feeling of something that was made with care. I especially like the cording too which has a bit of a golden sheen and happens to play off nicely against the organic embroidery on my sheer, linen curtains. A wood knob adds that extra pleasing detail. It took minutes to install, fits perfectly, and provides a perfect amount of shade. Everything is as they describe and they wrote to double check the measurements. What more could one ask? I use it to filter out light from a window that "bleaches out" my pc monitor in the evenings around dusk and it works perfectly. So lovely I'm thinking of getting more---just for the aesthetic effect. Well worth the reasonable expense.

White "Pattern 13" gives us privacy and light

Our LETAU shades completely transformed our home and we love them. We moved into a fishbowl of an apartment with a huge facade of windows directly at sidewalk level. It presented a challenge: we couldn't let everyone have a crystal-clear view into our personal life 24/7, but we wanted to still enjoy the light and the view. THESE SHADES ARE PERFECT. Lots of photos here to explain.During the day, we can see out but people cannot see in through the blinds. (Photos 3 and 4 demonstrate this.) The quality of light that filters through these blinds would make any photographer drool. (Photos of cat give a glimpse of this, although they're just snapshots.) They tame down the heat of the afternoon sun, too.At night, if our lights are on inside, people can see through the blinds a little bit, but it still offers enough of a barrier that we don't feel exposed. (Photos 1 and 2 compare the privacy during day and night.)If you need 100% privacy at night, I recommend their other colors/patterns. I ordered "Pattern 11" shades for my old home (built in 1950, not a single window was a standard size), and the shades provided 100% privacy and blocked about 80% of the light that came through those windows.ADVICE: If you are ordering huge sizes like us, consider ordering them at a height that is 1/4" – 1/2" shorter than the height of your window. They will stretch a tiny bit due to their weight. But not much! I do not fault the company for this at all. Most windows are normal, ours are not. My previous LETAU shades in my regular-sized house didn't stretch.We wouldn't have been able to afford to do this if we had ordered custom shades from a specialty windows/blinds company. It would have cost 5x as much, or more. The LETAU customer service team is wonderful. They went to great pains to make sure they got our order right, and they were very professional and accommodating.Bonus: the cat likes them.

Awesome product with great customer service

We bought 2 originally and liked them so much, we bought 2 more and are about to buy our 5th and 6th.From the start of the ordering process, this company did an amazing job. They confirmed the sizes and communicated with me directly to make sure it was accurate.The product itself is beautiful and extremely well designed. I owned shades triple this price that broke in a few years. This is a simple and well crafted sturdy design (coming from an engineer). I have owned the first set for 1.5 years and it has been in a heavily used vacation rental property.Then I was dumb and accidentally cut one of the cords too short. I reached out to the company and they responded to send me a new cord along with an instruction video on how to fix it. I haven't tried to fix it yet but I was astounded by their customer service.I can't say enough about this product and the support they have provided.
