Lucky Charm for St. Patrick’s Day!
I absolutely love the LEKSON St. Patrick’s Day Gnomes decorations! The little Irish leprechaun boy and girl are beyond adorable, and the green details with the hanging shamrock make them perfect for the holiday. The weighted bottoms help them sit securely on my tiered tray without tipping over, and they also look great on my mantel. The quality feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy at all. The green is odd, but the cuteness overshadows that detail.
These decorative gnomes will not only welcome the holiday of St. Patrick’s Day, but they will also greet guests into our house. They measure as described and will fit proportionally on an entrance hallway table. Most of the two characters are stitched well with the exception of the male gnome’s foot (see photo). It shouldn’t be an issue, but worth noting. The pair are green as seen in the description, and not the vibrant green often associated with this holiday. The only exception is the bold green of the shamrock on the male's hat. Noticeably, the soft, fuzzy hats are a different hue than the bodies. Luckily, the flame-orange hair on both gnomes has a striking contrast to the green, making the Irish theme that much more evident. The beard and braids are groomed with no matting noticed.The accessories, the flower, bows, and belt buckle around the hat are securely fastened. As described, this duo is posable and sit straight without effort. Absolutely magical
$12.99 when ordered. $29.99 now.If you like me you would look at what I wrote above and think to yourself, "Dang! That's one hell of a price jump!" To which I would agree. However, the difference is that unlike so many things that you see do that these can actually hold up to it.But I ordered these, I knew they were either going to be amazing or an absolute fail. And I was willing to risk it on the chance that they were amazing. Boy am I glad I did. It is so nice to see attention to detail and quality. These are well stitched, they are weighted wonderfully. And they're just downright cute. There is a blend of textures between the different felts,fabrics, ribbon, and yarn. There is a multitude of green but they all go well together. There is such beautiful color harmony in both of these. Instead of looking like something you picked up at a dollar store these look like something that would be on display at a boutique. I am head over heels in love with the shag carpet styled hats. I just want to run my hands over them. That they have the little bitty threads of silver wound through them to give it a sparkle of Dew and magic makes all the difference in the world. I really like the cone that allows you to bend it in either direction that you would like giving you the opportunity to make that shamrock that is dangling be noticeable from whichever direction you would want it to be.I cannot find a single drop of glue that should not be where it is. These are very cleanly made. And as long as they're taking well care of I can see these remaining as useful decor for many many years to come. In fact it might be something you could pass down. They are just adorable. And each has its own distinct personality.One of the things that I like the most about them is that they are in fact waited at the bottom. It's not that heavy clunky kind of weight that when you pick it up you just know well this is weighted. When you pick it up you almost can't tell, but as soon as you set them down, they sit up straight and they do not tip over. You don't have to have them positioned against anything at all to keep them sitting up straight.Also, they are tall enough to be a standout and catch the eye, but not so tall that they are going to be challenging to find somewhere to place them. In fact, I like them so much that instead of using them at a certain time of year I think they're just going to go with my stuffed animals and be a magical aspect of the display. I can't stop staring at their heads. The hats are just perfection.These are definitely worth their price and I am very happy to have them. I'm quite surprised by the joy they bring me.
