These are surprisingly nice quality crucifixes for representing our Christian faith in our home. I think they are solid brass. The figure of Christ was cast separately from the cross and affixed together with tiny screws. They feel very solid, sturdy & strong, yet still lightweight enough for easy hanging on any wall.I am really glad that none of this was constructed from plastic or resin, which would feel cheap and easily broken. The solid metal will last longer than our home. The value of this set is excellent.I hung both of these in our home, one in entryway and one in master bedroom. But, I was very tempted to give the second one as a gift and it was nice to have that option. They came individually packaged in clean, unmarked white boxes, perfect for easy gift wrapping.The size is accurate, it is not large. A gentle daily reminder of God's sacrifice for man's redemption.
