Well-Crafted, Beautiful Color & Leather Texture, Easy On, Covers My Large Sofa w/ Room to Spare
We have 2 twenty year old good leather sofas that are a dark espresso color with mohair fabric seat cushions. We also love and care for several rescue cats. In order to keep the sofas in good shape we've had dark brown throws over the backs of them since we've owned them.I noticed recently that the arms were getting scratched from the cats jumping from the floor to the arms then to the backs to lay down so I thought I should either look for some type of arm covers or get a sofa cover. While searching I came across this option and thought I would try one to see how they fit and how good a color match they are.I chose the darker of the 2 brown options as our sofas are really dark espresso colored. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package as the texture is very similar to the leather on our sofas. The cover is all one piece, and since we keep a fur throw over the back normally, I disconnected the back pillows from the sofa body and put them on top of the cover to help the cover stay in place. It is very simple to put on as there are two small red tabs that say "Back". You just pull those down over the corners of the sofa back and all the way down to the legs and then start tucking the cover under the pillows and into the sides until it's as smooth as it can be.The two sofas we have are different styles so I chose the one with the smaller arms to try it on for size. As it turns out, the cover's arms are plenty wide, so I actually could have put the cover on the Chesterfield sofa with the wide rolled arms and it would have fit better.I ordered the sofa size cover which says it will fit an 88" sofa. My sofa is exactly 88" and there is still a bit of room on both sides because my sofa's side arms are thinner. I show a photo of it with the cover on below. If your sofa has more traditional arms like a camelback sofa style this will be more fitted.I've actually never seen a leather look sofa cover until I found this one. It would be even more attractive if it had options with elastic backed pull on seat cushion covers for a more upholstered sofa look. As it is now, it looks like a sofa cover, but the color and texture are so rich, with all the pillows on it looks just fine and the cover serves the purpose of protecting the sofa from our furkid's antics. If you are looking for an excellent quality leather look sofa cover, this is a great option and I can highly recommend it!
