To Seek Perfection Is Foolhardy. But Don't Settle.
Learned two things today. 1) Learned that Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese philosophical and aesthetic concept that finds beauty in imperfection, transience, and natural, rustic simplicity, and 2) that greige is a versatile, trendy neutral color that blends grey and beige, offering the sophistication of grey with the warmth of beige. Both are evident in this beautiful ceramic vase. Proponents of this worldview would be attracted by the “distressed” outer surface, and the color (loosely speaking) certainly falls within the range that is greige.At 13 ½ inches tall this vase is large enough to make a statement. It says I am not perfect, I am scarred but I am still standing. Even the profile of the item is “off” being perhaps a bit thicker than it needs to be. It doesn't care. It takes pride in its girth. It earned it. It quit concerning itself with color a while back when it was a secondary or tertiary consideration. Surviving was all it cared about in that period. It has a solid base. Which it needed. It got felt feet a few years back making things easier. It likes easier. Things were hard. Now they're not.I'm part Wabibito. I love this vase. I am so glad it arrived in one piece. I still would have loved it just in a different way. 5 Stars then. 5 Stars now.

Beautiful Craftsmanship, Rustic Details
This ceramic vase is absolutely beautiful. It was carefully packaged in a way that it did not arrive damaged. It is tall and accurate to size. It is 11.5 inches according to the item description. I think my favorite part about this vase is the fine bumps on it. When you look at it in the light, you can see all of the textures of the little fine bumps from afar. It has a beautiful texture that reminds me of Italian countryside, but the color and the shape reminds me of a modern feel.It was also included a nice replacement pamphlet that arrived with the vase. It indicates in the unlikely process that the vase is damaged in shipment. It helps you easily replace it. I really like that. It is a good sign that this company cares for their customers and wants them to have a good experience. Overall, this is a beautiful ceramic base with a rustic feel that I will cherish as it adds a nice ambience to the home. This item would make a great gift or something to buy to spoil oneself. Gorgeous Patina & Sturdy | Versatile for Decor or Fresh Flowers
This Le Tauci Vase has a gorgeous patina, and it has the look and weight of a premium ceramic vase. I ordered the 13.2 in. vase in the beige color to contrast with my teal dining room wall. It looks beautiful, and I love the option of having this unique farmhouse style vase with decorative stems in it, or fresh flowers, since it is water-tight.The 3 padded feet on the bottom hold it in place and are soft on the furniture - it is not easily tipped or unsteady at all. Very sturdy and not easily tipped.As for value, this Le Tauci Vase is at a premium price point, but you can have confidence that the vase is exactly as pictured and described. It is high-quality ceramic and it is weighted enough to firmly hold long stems without being unsteady.

Nice Distressed Vase - Good Accent Item or Centerpiece
This is a nice, heavy ceramic vase with a distressed (if that’s the right word) finish in that it’s not smooth and polished on the outside (or inside), but rather is rough and looks gritty. The beige/grey color would go well with most interior color schemes. It comes with padding on the bottom (a few padded circles) to protect furniture and there are six extra padding dots in case they’re needed).I did try this with fresh plants that needed water and I had no problems with leakage. I prefer it with dried plants, though, as I feel the color scheme works better together.One thing to watch, at least on the vase I received, is that not only is the inside not polished, but it has some very rough edges. I had one spot on the side of the vase (inside) and a spot on the bottom of the vase that had sharp edges and stuck out from the side and bottom so be careful when cleaning the inside that you look first and identify if your vase has any of these ‘extra’ ceramic protrusions.At 11.5” high, it’s not so large as to overwhelm a large dining room table, with or without something in it, but this would also look good on a coffee table or in a corner with large foliage of some sort in it.
