It's now 5 months later and I could not be happier with the quality and look of these roman shades. Installation no tools, no drill, was easy and moving shades up and down is easy with a simple push up and a pull down from both sides of the shade. MMayer Store is communicative and checked the measurements through an email before making these custom shades. Custom because I had 2 windows that were 35 x 72 inches but the measurements inside the frames were slightly different. I would order again from this company.

Exactly what I hoped for! Lovely appearance and easy installation. Please note: shades sizes listed are 1/4” short of width posted allowing inside mount clearance. I ordered 1”wider (as suggested by listing) and had to return due to 11/4” being too narrow for my window frame.Installation suggestion: adjust butterfly screws and bracket part way out before putting inside window frame for less turns to tighten bracket.

White Washed Shades 22"Wx60"L. So EASY to install! Absolutely no hardware. Just twist the wing nuts to get the right tension. Seems very tight and secure. Note, though the bamboo is white the accent trim is a light taupe color. Think cardboard box color only lighter. So when put up, they look more creamy. At least in my window as it faces North with very little light (when we do get sunshine here in the NE). Window is in my foyer, wooden cathedral ceiling. I would suppose the shades are lighter in a sunny window. All and all, I'm thrilled with these shades!

Fabulous blinds

Couldn't wait to review these blinds. Absolutely LOVE them. Really easy to install by yourself, although I have some repetitive motion/grip strength issues, needle nose pliers solved the problem I had with dealing with the wing nuts that adjust the mounting brackets. Also what I learned after installing the first blinds was that it was so much easier to expand each side BEFORE you get on a stepstool to hang them. They're a lot heavier than what I was expecting and are extremely well made. EXCELLENT price. These add a layer of interest to my rooms also. I love the fact there is light that comes through these. I work from home and had the regular mini blinds and felt so claustrophobic without opening/raising them every day, but I can see through these!!!

Looks good, works well, easy to install

I ordered this shade for our bathroom window. I measured carefully and checked it a couple of times. I received a message from the seller to confirm measurements- which I think is a good practice. It arrived well packaged, and I was able to install the shade easily in just a few minutes. I have to say, it looks very nice. Even though it stays in the window frame by tension, it does feel pretty sturdy. The pull-down mechanism seems a bit stiff (and I’m hoping this does affect how well the tension mechanism stays put), but putting it back up (opening) is quite easy. I prefer light filtering window covers, and this one fits the bill very nicely. I think it offers adequate privacy without feeling closed off to outside.The quality and color of the wood seem good, but only time can tell how well it all holds up.

Super easy install!!

In the middle of a remodel and paint job on the house, this has to be the easiest thing I’ve installed yet!!! Place it between the walls and tighten the wing nuts! Bam done! It blocks the light better than the old slat blinds and no cords to pull on. Lift up it goes up, pull down and it goes down super easy!! Seems like really good quality and and will last a long time.
