These honeycomb shades are good quality. They installed fairly easily. I installed them flush, do I did have to screw the mounting brackets into the top window frame. They open and close easily. They do block out light well, but some light does come into the room from the gap between the window frame and the blinds at the edges.
These are absolutely perfect!! They look beautiful and I am so impressed with the quality and the ease of installation. It probably took me a total of 25 minutes to open the box and put them up, and I am a 64 year old grandmother. I used a cordless screw gun to drill a small hole on either side of the window and a screw driver to screw in the 4 screws ( 2 on either side). I got the blackout shades and they work perfect in my baby grand daughter's room. They go up and down with ease and they feel like a very high quality shade. I will probably purchase more for other rooms.
These are very simple shades that install easily. They fit well in the window and leave a small gap at the top and sides, which is typical for these types of shared. They are easy to open and close with the included handle and they do a great job at darkening a room. We liked the first ones we bought so much we bought 3 more sets for other rooms in our house.The material is lightweight so it may not stand up to alot of abuse, but if you don't mess with them too much, it should not be an issue. I do like how they can slide a little in the brakcet. I have two next to each other in a larger window and I was able to adjust them after installing the brackets to make sure they were centered over the windows.
I purchased these as a tempory fix whele renovations going on. These are AMAZING quality & this is comming from a professional. Honestly I am shocked how cheap these cost & I will now keep. They block 100% of the light & super super study. Amazing deal. These will last a very very very long time
These shades work great. I gave it a four on two reasons. 1) the material is like paper. So far it works well but will see how they last over the years. The blackout portion does a great job to block out the sun. 2) I purchased the no tools version and by accident the tools version as well. The no tools version is a little hard to tighten the nut to secure in place. So far, they hold but will see after multiple uses if it remains secure. For the price, overall, it is a good product.
We love the blinds, reasonably priced, fit well and darken the room a decent amount. Fairly quick and easy to install. First one took 45 minutes but after that, the rest took less than 15 minutes each
