Nice Quality!

The shades are darker than what is pictured, more of an orange-brown rather than natural. While they still look good, my preference was a lighter, natural shade. That said, the shades are a nice quality and the mechanism to raise and lower seems sturdy. A bit of light does peak through which we like. The installation was simple and easy. I would recommend these shades just be sure of the color.

Nice product, but requires a little stain touch up to get the finished look

Very easy to install, looks great. I like that there are no pull cords, you just pull it down to lower, lift to raise and it just stays put. I'm holding back 1 star only because the ends are cut and remain unfinished, which really stands out against the dark color (mine are espresso color). The color is just what I wanted. I recommend using a dark stain touch up marker to touch up the ends so they match the rest. I used Minwax red mahogany, which is a good match. Looks MUCH better with this little detail taken care of. I also touched up the cut ends of the wood mount. Now it all blends nicely and looks finished. The close up picture shows "in progress" the touched up ends vs. the untouched ends at the bottom. Also the final product.Nice product, but requires a little stain touch up to get the finished look. Would buy again with that in mind.
