I am so happy that I chose the LaVie Home frames. It was very easy to install my watercolor painting into them, and they look great. I was originally looking for metal frames of silver or gold. I'm glad that I couldn't find any that suited me. I wanted something simple and not too showy. Rather than enhance a work of art, ornate frames detract by drawing the viewer's attention away from the art to beauty of the frame. These LaVie Home frames are just what the artist ordered. They are plain and, they are very easy to work with. There is no assembly other than installing your picture in them. They look exquisite and, the price is very reasonable. What more could one ask for? I will buy them again and, I definitely highly recommend these frames. I have had them for only two days. I haven't even hung them yet but have already received two compliments.

High quality with one blemish - but still the best option for the price.

Packaging needs improvement. Amazon put the mfg box inside their box which is a good idea. The box is very large (24x36) but skinny. The MFG needs to add cardboard corner protection to each corner of the frame. I purchased two of these frames and one corner had a small chip broken away. Be careful unpacking and handling. Any knock of the corner will result in damage. However, the mfg does a nice job of packing the plexiglass. It is wrapped in shrink wrap on both sides and is easily removed. I browsed numerous poster size frames and finally settled on this mfg. Best choice overall for the price point. After reading all the comments I concluded that people were frustrated in the "complexity" of installing the poster. You do have to bend back every pin to release the backing and plexiglass. Take your time and be patient. Handle the frame carefully as you install the poster. You need proper work-space to avoid damaging the frame. I used my bed to lay out the frame and prepare it. After hanging the frame on the wall I used some 3M double sided poster mounting tape on the bottom of the frame to secure the frame to wall and eliminate the gap between the wall and the frame. So now it looks flush to the wall.

Absolutely love these frames! I used them for panoramic puzzles and they fit like a glove. The back of the frame has hard mental pegs that you can bend tightly to close on the picture or puzzle and hooks for hanging. It did not come with the hardware to hang but a simple nail and hammer will do. It’s very sturdy, nice quality, and looks sleek.
