Beautiful, lasting, clean burning natural candle

This is such a nice candle. I have recently decided to try beeswax candles in a move to use more natural products in general. I am not sure how long this resolution will stick or how many of the new products will try replace my old standbys.I thought I’d really miss my heavily scented candles from the mall but truly this candle does have its own light, fresh smell that I truly enjoy. It was more economical than my usual candles and seems to burn slower. I can’t say I have scientific data on this but it’s certainly my impression.I tend to burn my candles a lot and this candle has really lasted. It burns and pools evenly, this is my most important criteria for a candle.I must say, as surprised as I am I do believe I’m a convert. This candle is very pretty. The shade of yellow is a natural, earthy yellow - not school bus yellow. It’s very pretty.

I have not made it to the 80 hours yet, but this candle is a joy. It is nicely made and a nice size. This comes well presented in a quality box...thus making this into a great gift. This claims to be 100% bees wax (later a "bees wax formula"). I am no expert, but to know that beeswax lasts longer than other types of wax in the same sized candle. As a result, although candles of this size can sometimes be purchased for less than half the price of this, bees wax candles are about the same price as this $40 candle.

I love the smell of beeswax!

Yeah, sure, these candles are unscented. That doesn't mean you can't smell them! I positively LOVE the smell of a beeswax candle. Somewhat like lavender, I associate the smell with clean and pure.We burned this candle for half an hour, just for the pleasure of burning a candle. That half hour didn't even put a dent in the candle - this really should last around 80 hours.As should be expected, the candle doesn't really light up a room - but it casts enough light to find your way around if the lights are out. So, yes, it works as expected!The price is a little scary, but this candle is worth it, IMO.

Good quality uncented beeswax candle

This is a very solid large candle. I like that it is made of beeswax. It does not have any weird smell. It is solid and can stand upright by itself. I forgot to trim the wick the first time I lit it. The wick comes with a layer of wax on the tip. The instructions do say to trim before first use. So for the first few minutes of being lit, there were little puffs of dark smoke as the wick burned off. If I had trimmed that it would not have happened. After it burned past that, the flame was clean and stead. It took a couple of attempts to blow it out. I like the color of the beeswax, and think it would work well in fall decor. I usually only light candles in emergencies. I think this candle will be great for those situations, and in the mean time, it looks nice on my shelf .
