Sturdy low bowl great for any catch-all needs (keys, fruit, candle holder, etc)

The material on this low decorative bowl is listed as resin - it feels different to me than anything I've really had before, because it's a bit grainy and has a slight texture to it rather than being perfectly smooth like you'd normally see with resin. That's not a bad thing, just different than expected.The color is not solid - it almost looks like a cream color with sand mixed in and gives a cool esthetic. The bowl's height and width were bigger than I'd expected, but note that the bowl part is shallow - not meant for liquid for sure!I would guess that this is not food safe, and should only be used for decor.I like that it has a bit of weight to it, so it's not going to slide around on a table or get easily bumped or knocked over. Also the sturdy structure allows you to put plenty of weight on it - mine is stacked with a bag of apples, a bag of potatoes, 4 bananas and 3 pears at the moment.I can really see this anywhere in a home as a catch all - it's nice that it's different enough to not look totally bland but also can blend with a lot of different styles and coloors

Nice decorative bowl!

Nice bowl for decorating with! Mine came a little chipped up and had a part where it looks like some filler was used but at a distance you don't notice. It feels like it's made from some type of fiberglass or plastic type stuff so it's got some weight to it which keeps it from falling over. I searched all over trying to find out if it's food safe and although I didn't find it in writing anywhere, I saw the photos on the listing showing fruit so I assume you can use it for stuff like that. I just wouldn't put food directly on it that you plan to eat since it's a mystery material. Overall I like it and it looks nuce for the price.
