Defective/Damaged- Incorrect hardware sent

Its a beautiful clock. I was sent the wrong hardware and was finally able to assemble after struggling to get what I was sent to work. After assembly, I inserted the batteries for the light, only for the light to continuously turn off after a couple of seconds and turn back on again. I tried to insert the batter for the clock and the spring was missing. After wasting my time and energy, disassembled everything for return.
