Tick-Tock…A Silent Wooden Farmhouse Clock

It is just as described…A Large Farmhouse Wooden Wall Clock with Roman Numerals. The wooden material that creates the clock face is a shiplap like distressed cream white color. The Roman numerals and outer trim, as well as the hands have a finish I would describe as a faux hammered metal finish-black/silver. It requires one AA battery. It has two sturdy metal hangers on the back…note-it does not include any hardware (screws or drywall anchors) for hanging. It’s not overly heavy, so the two brackets hold it securely. No worries about ift falling off the wall if someone accidentally slams a door! I can confirm that it keeps time accurately and is definitely silent. I held my ear up to it to make sure it was working when I installed the battery and then realized it really was silent.

Easy to see large clock. Rustic look. Brackets pull out of the back easily so be gentle when hanging

I’ve been keeping my radar up for a large clock that is easy to see from a distance to use on our covered porch. I wanted to be able to see the clock when I’m out working in the yard. I’ve tried a few other clocks but none seemed to quite be “the one”.When I saw this one, I thought the size and the color might work perfectly. Turns out, it’s perfect.It’s made of a painted wood composite material made to resembled bead board. The Roman numeral number are made of a thicker metal and the hands are thin metal. The details are black and so show up very clearly against the white background. It runs on a single AA battery.There are two hanging brackets screwed to the back which require two screws measured exactly. Because the clock is light-weight, we elected to put a piece of picture-hanging wire between the two hanging brackets so we only need one screw to hang it up. This mades it easier to take it down and put it back up when it needs a battery change.If you do what we did, be gentle because the hanging brackets pull out of the composite material VERY easily. We had to screw them back in during the installation of the wire we used.I do love this clock and it works terrific for my purposes.
