I have lots of artificial Ferns and this is the absolute most realistic looking one!

Last year I got a two pack set of what was supposed to be authentic looking ferns but because it was the smaller size that isn't shown in the product listing, what I ended up getting was actually two thin limp plants that, even when you put them together in one pot, didn't look like a real fern.So this year I ordered a double set of the much larger size of the same artificial ferns and when I received those I was very happy because they looked much more realistic than the smaller set ( after being fluffed).I wanted a third Fern to go with those two larger ones and I thought this one was going to be identical to that double set, but this one is even more realistic than those other two because this o e has a whopping 98 fronds so it looks like a very authentic looking big fluffy fern.Of course it does take several minutes of fluffing time because it's very compressed when you get it wrapped up and squished into the box.But nonetheless it's the most realistic looking artificial fern that I have.This would work well even in an indoor environment because of how realistic looking it is.Again, it does take a bit of work to get the stems unbent and situated properly and the fern frond leaves unbent from their very squished state. I'm still working on mine.When I first ordered this I thought that the $46 price tag for one fern was pretty steep but when you see the quality of it and how much work went into making this artificial plant, it seems appropriate since this should last for many years and even if it gets dusty it should be able to be rinsed off quite easily with a simple spray of water.Highly recommended if you're looking for a very realistic artificial fern that you never have to deal with watering or misting!

Fabulous fern that will never need water!

The quality of this fern surprised me. It's one of the best faux plants I think I've seen. It just takes some patience to spread and fluff, but once that's done, this is a beauty and will look great in a hanging basket on my porch. The plant itself is huge and very full. The The fronds are made of thick sturdy material that feels like it will be just fine outside. Time will tell if the color will fade in the harsh NC summer sun, but for now, the color is vibrant and lush. The fiddleheads are a nice touch. They're fuzzy and pretty realistic.If I had to come up with a negative, I can only think of 2, and they're not enough to even take a star: the base is thin like the stems on faux flowers, which makes it's placement in a hanging basket a little tricky. A round base or small pot would've been better. The second - there are little plastic "sprouts" at the top that I think are intended to look like new growth. These could've been omitted altogether.Overall, this faux fern is a fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Love the size, thickness and fullness but packaging could be better.

I really like the looks and size of this Faux Fern. It gives you that realistic look of a Fern without all the hassle and mess. It's thick, full and also has stems at the top that look like new growth adding appeal to the overall look. The base/spike is 5 in. long giving you plenty of depth to keep it secured down in dirt or foam. The spine of the leafs are plastic but the leaves themselves are made of a silk material that's UV resistant and waterproof. I put mine in a 10" pot with a 12" long hanger on it. I used dirt to support it and it has held up well in some recent 30-40 mph winds we've had lately. My front porch is covered but I hung the fern at the front so, it will get a few hours of morning sun. I'm hoping it will last a while and not fade out quickly in our hot Oklahoma Summers like some others I've had. The only thing they could have done better on is, the packaging. It came with the leafs separated into two parts with rubber bands around them and smashed down into a box that was barely big enough for it. This caused some of the leafs around the edge to get crumbled up on the edges as well as some having creases which are not the easiest to get out. Despite how it looks when you get it, it does spread out and fluff up nicely without having to spend too much time on adjusting the leaves. Other than that, I love it and plan on getting another one for the other side of the porch.

Very realistic looking and well-made artificial fern plant

This is a very nice, plush artificial Boston fern that looks pretty realistic, especially from a distance. It was easy to 'fluff' and arrange and ready to go pretty much right out of the package. You do need something to secure it if using it in a pot or some sort of container to hold the stem in place as it doesn't have a base. It also needs something to kind of weigh it down if using it outside, otherwise the wind catches it pretty easily and will blow it out of the container. The plant is very thick and seems to be very well made. It even has the little string-like things on it like a real fern plant that make it look even more realistic. I haven't had any issues with any of the branches coming disconnected or falling off. The price is a little on the high side, so that really the only question I have is how good of a value it is for the money, but otherwise I recommend this as it's a well-made, realistic looking product.

Looks very real but make sure you order a pot or basket to put it in

Full disclosure, I received this item as part of Amazon's Vine Program in exchange for an honest review, good or bad. These ferns look very realistic and natural. They are also nice and big. There is a slight "warehouse smell" but not bad and after a few days it went away. They would look great in a hanging basket or a planter. It is too early to tell how well they will hold up outdoors.The only complaint I have is the pictures only show one part of one photo that shows the bottom of these. They do not come in any sort of pot or planter. They all come wrapped in a single bundle. You have to provide something to put it in, which is fine, but I wish that were made more clear in the description. If it had been, I would have ordered something to fit it at the same time instead of having to wait for the hanging basket to come in.
