Very nice draperies
My pictures show 3 sets (2 panels per set) on a 78” wide window plus 8” (rod is installed with an additional 4” on each side for good coverage). And, a 54” length for a more custom look. These are light filtering but just a little heavier and opaque with a tighter weave than other light filtering draperies. They claim that in their description and that is true. Exactly what I wanted. They are made with 20% Linen & 80% polyester so they have more of a “linen like” appearance but not a real linen look. They do look more polyester. I recently purchased other light filtering draperies which I put in my other bedrooms and they have 70% Linen and 30% polyester so they do have more of a genuine linen appearance, very pretty and delicate, but they are thinner and sheerer than these. Also, these do not have any “flax” or “seeding” weaved in like the other ones I purchased. The color is true and solid with no variance. These are white and it is a true white. The flax or seeding in the other ones incorporates a very slight amount of coloring, i.e. ivory or gray or whatever, though very subtle. These are pure and solid. The heavier or tighter weave provide a good amount of privacy, more than most other light filtering draperies or curtains, but definitely let in a good amount of light. I put a set (of two panels) in the dryer for 20 minutes with two damp wash clothes which I wet and rung out, and all the wrinkles came out and they hang beautifully, and they are soft to the touch. I did have issues with different lengths though. I may be returning or exchanging some panels for that reason. Some were about 1/2" shorter than the others. Otherwise, I’m happy with these and I do recommend them. These are a good price but I purchased them with a 20% coupon so, even better.!
