So pretty and soft

So soft! I purchased the 6x9 rug and the 2.8x10 runner. Very pleased with this purchase! The rugs came out of the package smelling good—a light, floral scent. They are so soft under foot and vacuums easily easily. I haven’t washed them yet, but the solid construction leads me to believe they will hold up well. The colors are bright and vibrant—true to the photos. They do bunch a bit when I walk on them because they are thin and laid on top of carpet. I will most likely get a pad or carpet tape to keep them in place. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The photos show the rug in natural light and the runner in a dark hallway with overhead lighting.

Soft, & colors are vibrant and beautiful

This rug is thin, so it’s important to have a non-slip pad underneath so it will stay put. If not, the rug will slip & could possibly be a trip hazard.With the pad, the rug is perfect. It lays flat without wrinkles.A beater-bar or heavy suction vacuum doesn’t work well on the rug. A sort of old fashioned tool, the carpet sweeper, works really well and cleans without wrinkling up the carpet.. I have the Shark rechargeable carpet sweeper and a whole house full of washable rugs and carpets . I’m really happy with the carpets. They stay put and are easy to clean. It just takes a few changes in the way they are put down and what is used to keep them clean.

The best rugs!

I have a bunch of these rugs. After ordering one small one and loving it, I ended up purchasing many more in different shapes and sizes for areas through my home. They are incredibly soft with a very great weight. A lot rugs can feel stiff and not so thick, but all of these are the same great softness, thickness and heavy weight. I ordered a Boho Tribal rug mistakenly from a different brand, and realized as soon as I received it that something was wrong. It was stiff, not soft at all and didn't have the weight. I sent that one back and got the correct brand (same size) and what a difference there was.I haven't tried any other rugs from Lahome, but I imagine they are the same quality, which is fabulous.I have six. 3 hallway runners (for 2 long hallways) 1- 10x2.6 & 2 - 7x2's. A 4x6 for in front of my sink, a six foot round for under my table, and a small 2x3 for in front of a door. One of the great things I have found out this winter is how warm these rugs keep my feet from the bare floor. Not to mention they are beautiful.Just can't go wrong with these. Definitely, wholeheartedly recommend these. And the price is right!

Why fold rugs?!

I got these to put in a seldom used bathroom. The granite and cupboards that were here when we bought the house are not my style, I actually dislike it immensely, but as I said, it’s seldom used. I’m trying to make it work, but it’s a real struggle. The granite is literally orange and black striped. My daughter said I should just make it a Halloween bathroom. So I’m trying to find pieces to incorporate the black and orange, and someone suggested teal as an accent. I stink at decorating so I’m going with it. These rugs actually don’t look terrible in this bathroom, super soft underfoot and I think they will be easy to keep clean with a vacuum and an occasional spot clean. However, I have 2 beefs with the rugs. First, this one is described as having teal in it and there is no teal to be found. It is light blue and navy blue, not teal. Secondly, why on earth do manufacturers fold rugs instead of rolling them? Ugh! The fold are so hard to get out. I have them lying flat for now, hopefully I can get the fold out somehow. I am going to have to deal with it though because I am on my way to the airport so returning them is not an option. When I get back hopefully they will be flat otherwise I will try steam, heat, sun, wet them and hang dry, who knows. So, 10 stars for softness and accuracy of size. 3 stars for folding and not accurately describing the color. Lastly, I ordered a 2x3, and a 4x6, and the backs are different on them. Neither one is particularly sticky enough to not need an anti skid pad.
