I ordered these shelves as a Christmas present for my daughter. When they arrived I opened the box and saw the large shelf was broken. I contacted the manufacturer and they got back to me immediately. They sent me a whole new set and made sure it arrived in time for Christmas!Installation was easy - literally like hanging a picture. They include a spacer template and a small torpedo level. The hangers are concealed and routed into the shelf so they mount to the wall. The shelves are well built and look great!My only minor critique would be the drywall anchors aren’t the greatest, but that’s an easy $2 fix.I would 100% recommend these shelves for the quality and customer service!

Great shelves, a bit tricky to install

Shelves look great in our living room - they are sturdy and hold decent weight and I like the ability to customize the layout with the different hexagon sizes. They were a bit difficult to install, but with some patience and careful measurements (ideally with 2 people) it turned out great. They include a spacing tool and level to help maintain consistency, and the hangers are sunk into the back of the shelves so they sit flush against the wall. Definitely recommend if you have the patience for installation.

Clarity - Rustic / Hobo it is. Different sizes means not equal sides next to each other.

1) In re-reading the description, I now see that it says rustic/hobo. Upon arrival, I realized I failed to appreciate that the wood was unfinished. It is stained, but it is not sealed in any fashion. I felt the need to put a sealant on it so it was dustable, cleanable, tidier, wouldn't warp with humidity, etc.2) Hanging them correctly is a chore, especially if you line them up one on top of the other. The hangers are not the way I would have expected. I would have expected the nails to be placed symmetrically on the wall, but they are not. They are sort of at 2 oclock and 7 oclockish, if that makes sense. This is so the shelves have a flat shelf to place things on. Also, because they are different sizes (I bought the four in one kit with four different sizes), any two shelf edges are not the same length. So, placing them side by side reveals that discrepancy quickly. That didn't strike me as obvious in the photos of the product either. I see in the product flier mailed with the product, they use identically sized shelves for the various wall displays that look like honeycomb patterns.

When I started taking them out of the box, I was surprised by the quality. They're so solid, and the wood is stunningly beautiful, also they smell really good? I'm pregnant right now so the plastic-y smell of opening things is a little nauseating, but these smell like freshly sanded wood and give me a wiff of pure joy every time I enter my kitchen <3And usually when I order something online, even if I measure it, I'm mildly surprised by the size that arrives. Great product in regards to durability, stain, and all the edges line up. The only reason I gave 4 stars to installing is because they all have to be slid to lock in. You would just have to do some math when measuring for your screws + since they are all different sizes, you will have all different measurements for hanging. The average person who doesn’t have a handyman for a husband may struggle. I know I would have if it was not for him.
