Can barely smell it, no throw at all

I bought the Saffron and Oud candle expecting that it would be able to make my small dorm room smell better but even after lighting it for hours, I can barely smell anything. There’s absolutely no throw and I have to literally come right up to the candle to actually smell it. It’s a shame because the packaging is really pretty which is why I’m giving it one star, but the candle itself just sucks. Maybe I just got a bad batch of whatever but it feels like this was an absolute waste of money since it’s basically just a show piece now.
