Doesn't smell like a cyprus tree at all. Has a baby-powderish scent + not strong. Nice jar

Beautiful jar, but doesn't smell very strong and not a fan of the scent. Mostly smell Hinoki. Can barely smell the cyprus at all. Kinda has a baby-powder adjacent scent to it. I was hoping for more evergreen / earthy scent.

The green is pine and the jar is beautiful and reusable

First off it comes packaged ready for gifting, secondly it looks absolutely beautiful before it is even lit, like old world glass. Then you light the “candle wick” that is unlike any I have ever known and it smells wonderful- I have the green one- Koya Hinoki &Cypress, which is your pine candle for Christmas, and the wick crackles like a little tiny fireplace, so relaxing. I got 6 more for gifts. Thank you <3

This candle looks and feels luxurious. The glass container has a beautiful color and design. The glass is thick and appears sturdy. It is a large candle with a significant amount of wax that doesn’t melt quickly. The scent is sweet but also has an earthy feel to it which I love and would be a neutral scent to gift. It is easy to use but you have to be careful since the lid does not completely secure and easily slides off. It not only functions to provide a pleasant scent to the room but can be used as a decorative accent. It comes already packaged and ready to give as a present.
