Great wolf image, great price!

The week we bought our first house I started visiting animal shelters with the goal of finding a couple of German Shepherd Dogs, (preferably female, large, black, already trained, short fur). Not that I was picky or anything.😊 My brothers and I grew up with shepherds. My dad trained them when we were little, then I started training them. I always expected I would have GSD’s in my life again when we had a yard large enough. There was a particular male, untrained, medium sized ‘shepherd’ at a large humane society shelter. He kept trying to convince me, and anyone who was around, that he was my dog. NOT! He was not anything that I wanted. Each time I went to this shelter he would get all yippy skippy when I got close to his cage and would cry and howl when I walked past. People stopped me to point out what they thought was my dog. Eventually this dog was moved to the last chance row. I couldn’t stand it. I had a serious discussion with this ‘dog’, and brought him home. He looked exactly like a wolf, and that became his name. (Unfortunately, a lot of people have cross-bred shepherds with wolves. We are sure this was true in Wolf’s case but never had his DNA checked. I haven’t looked at recent rules, but back then, for home insurance purposes, dogs that came from a shelter were considered to be whatever breed the shelter said they were.)The biggest issue with any dog we get is that they be great with the kids. One of our nephews spent every weekend with us. Wolf and 18-month-old ‘B’, took one look at each other and fell in love. B used to say that he was half wolf and Wolf was half boy. He also said that they shared a birthday and were twins. B’s father is a twin.We had Wolf for over 12 years, and he was supposedly five years old when we got him. B has continued his love and attachment to wolves, even into adulthood. I continue to look for Wolf items for him for presents and was excited to find this sculpture-like wolf picture. I love how it is made out of six or more layers of different colored woods that make the design.I am guessing that these layers are laser cut. I like the colors and the shape. The online info says it’s good for a lot of places, including nursery which I think is odd. If you are into wolves, this would be great in an office and most rooms in your home, just not a nursery. 😊 Also, if I could have my druthers, I would love this to be a lot larger. Oh, and the moon should not be yellow.

Small and unique decor

This 3D wooden wolf carving is truly unique. The level of detail achieved on such a small piece is remarkable, capturing the essence of the wolf and wilderness with impressive precision. While initially surprised by its diminutive size, I found it to be a delightful feature, allowing for versatile placement on bookshelves, desks, or any small nook needing a touch of rustic charm. It commands attention despite its size, proving that big statements can come in small packages. My only wish is that it included a hook or mounting option for those who might prefer to display it on a wall. Nevertheless, this beautifully carved wolf is a unique and eye-catching addition to any space.
