When I opened the box, I was immediately struck by the color—it has this deep autumn rust tone that really stands out in a nice, earthy way. It was packed well, and once I shook it out a bit and adjusted the fronds, it fluffed up pretty easily. No weird plastic smell or anything like that, which I appreciated.The size is definitely on the larger side, which is what I was hoping for. It has a good amount of fullness and length, so it doesn’t look sparse or flat once it’s hanging. I’ve got it in a corner of my porch right now, and it adds a nice bit of color and texture. It would probably work well indoors too, especially in a space that needs a little life but can’t handle real plants.The quality feels solid—nothing has fallen off or come loose while I’ve been moving it around. The fronds have enough bend to adjust them, but they stay in place once you get them how you want. It also hangs well without needing a lot of extra fuss to get it to look balanced.Overall, it works exactly how I wanted—easy, no maintenance, and it fills a space nicely with a warm tone that feels seasonal without being too bold.

It's OK, but it's not great

It doesn't look nearly as real as it does in the listing. On top of it there's a long plastic stem that doesn't really fit down inside a normal sized hanging pot or a vase. I'm bummed about that. If I had a vase that it fit or I'm hanging pot that it fit I suppose I would be willing to give it a higher review, but since I don't and what I do have makes it look skimpy and dumb. I don't really want to entertain that idea.Once I'm able to see it in its entirety, I probably will be willing to give us a higher rating but at the moment I'm just a little disappointed with the looks of it and there's no saving grace or there's no feature that makes me want to change that review rating and give them something higher. Just as really just not a great artificial plant. There are much better options… But again I might change that once I can see how it looks. Hopefully it won't look as fake, but I don't really see how that's possible but I promise I'll come back and update this review as soon as I know.

Fairly realistic even up close, with a variety of gradient colored leaves.

This is a well-made and very realistic fake fern plant. It has the look of a real fern in that some of the fronds are browning which is something that you see in real ferns.In my opinion, that makes it look so much more realistic than the uniform green ones. Unless you look closely, it looks like a real fern.It even *feels* like a real fern to the touch -- which to be fair -- real ferns feel sort of plastic already.It has a lot of fronds and is about the same size as a potted fern.If I had to nitpick -- it would be that this single-stemmed fake fern costs more than an equivalent living fern. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, but the price isn't terribly high at the current $39.But, with a real fern there's a bit more upkeep -- not a lot, because it's a fern -- but still you have to take care of it. For someone like me who doesn't have a very green thumb, that's worth more than a real fern to have the almost undetectable fake fern that doesn't require much care (other than the occasional dusting.Overall, it's sturdy and high quality, but at a premium. I was first inclined to drop a star because of the price, but I've talked myself out of it considering the very low cost of upkeep. Five stars.

I love this artificial fern. It looks great. It is multi colored and will probably go with any room style. It’s the perfect size for my pot. It’s quite large and spreads out beautifully. I could not get over how realistic the plant looks. I get compliments on it all the time.The fern came well packaged was easy to install on my pot and I was able to open up all the leaves to make it look very full.Having had this for over month now I can also state how well it holds up.
