Good value for the price
Good value for the price. It came folded but there are no creases showing and it's laying nicely flat. It looks great and I noticed right away that it helped the acoustics in the room, which formerly had a bare wood floor. Keep in mind that any rug color can look different in different lighting. For where I am using it, the color is happily what I expected - a near-medium silvery gray. I bought a pad to put under it, which I'd recommend for any rug, and it feels fine underfoot. I'm not noticing shedding and it vacuums up nice and fluffy. It is not going to compare to a plush $300+ rug but neither is it sparse. For me it was a good compromise, and I am very happy with this rug overall.UPDATE November 2016: I've had this rug for 9 months now and I am just as happy with it as when I got it. It still looks great and still doesn't shed, and no problems with corners curling up. I'd gladly buy another of this brand; good value for the size.UPDATE February 2019: It has been 3 years since purchasing this rug, and I am still happy! It has held up very well. It is being used in a bedroom.UPDATE June 2023: I just searched my orders for this as I was curious as to how long I've had it. Over seven years! Still no shedding or curling. Use a rug pad. It's not plush, but it's proven durable for my use. This is in a bedroom with no dogs or small children on it, so your mileage may vary if those are in the picture. I've had no issues with basic cleaning of it.

Skeptical buyer, WON OVER. This area rug is AMAZING!
I am VERY happy with this purchase. First and foremost, the price is UNBEATABLE. $170 (and free shipping!) for an area rug THIS big? It's unheard of! Because of the affordable price, I have to be honest and say I wasn't expecting the greatest of quality, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it unfolded beautifully. After unfolding it (yes it comes folded, not rolled), I ran the vacuum over it to fluff it up and pick up and loose threads and it looked amazing. The color is exactly as shown in the photo, a silvery grey.We've had the rug now for three weeks in the most trafficked part of our home and it's held up wonderfully. I have had no problems whatsoever with threads coming up or piling. The 'shag' is also very short (under an inch), so it's easy to clean/vacuum, but also 'shaggy' enough to the point where my daughter loves playing on it because it's so comfy. We have a lot of natural lighting, and I have caught my husband laying on the rug, rather than the couch to nap in the warm sunlight. I plan on purchasing another one (in a different color) for our master en suite. Absolutely lovely, I can't rave enough. You won't be disappointed!

exactly what i wanted. mine came folded in two and wrapped tight in plastic shipping material. when laid out flat initially didn’t think the creases would ever come out. but after 2 or 3 days it laid flat and even. no problems. the pile is not lawyer office thick but is fine and nice to the touch.

Beautiful rug
I ordered the 9x12 Pewter Area Rug. Shipping was very fast, and it arrived a day earlier than expected. I immediately unwrapped it and laid it out flat. Two years later, Not impressed
When I first bought this rug 2 years ago, I was originally impressed. It seemed high quality. After 2 years, I believe I can give an accurate review. Pros: It has not frayed significantly at the edges. The color was originally great.Cons: After a couple months owning this rug, I realized that it had zero cushion, so I invested extra money in a pad underneath it. After a few more months, I realized that the overall texture of the pile, was not very soft at all and that I could feel the texture of the lining under the pile in several spots. This gets way worse as you’ve owned it. However, the stain resistance is nothing spectacular. I’ve had some stains come out easily and other stains, not so much. It tends to hold the scent of our dog, even with religious vacuuming and using pet deodorizer, shampooing, etc. Also, it seems to hold crumbs and dog hair and it’s difficult to vacuum those out thoroughly. I feel like I spend a significant amount of time vacuuming this rug. After 2 years, the shape of this rug has significantly changed, which is surprising. For what I spent on this rug, it should have the same rectangular shape and not a curve connecting two angles.In conclusion, if you want a rug that you plan on throwing away after a couple years, then this rug’s for you. If you want a rug that lasts, spend the extra money on a better rug.
