What a cute rug, great for learning!

This rug does have a higher price tag, but 4.5 ft x 6 ft is large, and is quality made. The rug is thick, like a thin to medium thickness rug you would buy for your dining room. I chose beige because it matches the browns in our house, my wife thought the light blue would be fun for the kids. Either would have worked for us, but I do like to be matchy-matchy. 😂The top side is very soft, not velvet/plush soft, but soft to the touch. The back side has a bit of a non-slip surface, which holds it to the carpet well. I thought maybe it would be good to turn upside down to do arts and craft projects, as it is darker, and this may still be in the plans, but the back is fairly rough to the touch because of the non-slip surface.The pictures are really cute. The "L" for Lion you have to use a little bit of your imagination for the L, as the neck of the lion is covered with a mane. I've never seen a true "X" for an animal, but they pulled it off with a Xeme, which is a kind of Gull, bird.The stitching and craftsmanship is very good quality. We look forward to Christmas with our grands, age 1.5 to 3 years old, they oldest are just now learning their letters.The size is pretty much spot on, with the width an inch over 4.5 ft, and the length exactly 6 ft. I have not washed it, you can see the creases from being folded. The description of the item on Amazon says it can be washed in the washer, with no mention of drying it. There is no tag with care instructions, and found no sheet included in the package. There is only a tiny smell to the item, and I'm very, VERY, sensitive to smells. It is not chemical in nature, just maybe warehouse or new smell, and is very faint. If I need to wash it, I'll probably do a gentle, eco-warm water, bulky item in the washer. If it does not wring out well, I may run in on the lowest dry setting, but pull out before fully dry. These are only my thoughts, not the manufacturer, and I have not tried it yet.I highly recommend this educational , functional, and fun rug for the little ones. I can't wait to pull it out in a couple of days for Christmas time.

Nice Rug for Kids’ Room.

The ABC rug is colorful and educational, and my kids enjoy playing and learning on it. The material feels soft and comfortable. It’s a good size for a small playroom or bedroom.
