The first thing I have to say is this was bigger, softer, and cuter than I expected. And the kids LOVE IT! The capybaras on the rug are adorable and since it comes with stickers, there's even more cuteness to have all around a kids room. It comes shrink-wrapped, so there are wrinkles at first. But in less than 24 hours, those are gone and the memory foam fluffs up. True to description, the anti-slip works really well. On shellac hard wood floors, this rug only move if you move it, which is necessary for small humans jumping around on it. This rug is super comfortable too (even considering that resting on it means you're resting where lots of feet, bare or otherwise, have tread. The rug has some weight to it, but it's not heavy for a adult. It was also pretty easy to roll up and out away if it's not staying out. The age group on the product page just says kids, but as early as 3 have used it and liked it immensely. At 3, the first task was learning how to do a controlled jump, after counting the blocks. I watched my kiddos try to do all the things. Later at puzzle time, kids were asking to make room on the rug. We'll check out the letters next time, but it's already a hit.

This kids hopscotch rug is super adorable and fun! My children (1 and 2 years old) are still too young to read the numbers and properly play hopscotch but I was able to show my 2 year old how to play and she had the best time "hop hop hop"-ping down the path of her new rug straight into mommy's lap at the end! The addition of the rug led to wonderful family bonding time that I had not anticipated. The overall quality of the rug is excellent and I expect it to last into the years where they are learning to read numbers and playing games like hopscotch! The colors are vibrant and the rug itself is very soft to the touch. There is enough thickness to the rug that I am considering using it as a padding for under our Montessori climbing set until my littles are old enough to hopscotch. I removed 1 star because it did take a little time out of the box to fluff up and it wasn't completely straight along the top and bottom edges, but such minor details considering the product overall. Bonus it comes with lots of stickers which my 2 year old also loves!

Cute capybara hopscotch rug
I got this capybara kids hopscotch rug for my home. It arrived tightly wrapped and took some time before the wrinkles smoothed out. I forgot to check the measurements before ordering, and thought it might be similar in size to my previous runner rug. But it is considerably wider, which makes sense considering the design, and so I had to find another place for it because it didn’t really fit where I’d planned.It looks great now though, with its adorable capybaras and vibrant colors. My children enjoy hopping around on this rug, and it stays in place quite nicely. It is well made and decently thick, and seems like it should last a long time. It is fairly easy to spot clean with my usual cleaning method. I am satisfied with this cute capybara hopscotch rug, and would definitely recommend it for children to hop on, either at home or school.
