We absolutely LOVE these curtains. The blackout feature has greatly enhanced our sleep. They are very heavyweight, made with quality and look great. They help keep out drafts in the winter, which is very cost effective. We love them and would highly recommend them.
This is the fifth set I’ve bought (and ALL of them are still in use). I live in a desert without a lot of rain and we regularly hit triple digit days. Other brands I’ve used block less light and barely any heat. These don’t have the white blackout backing on the curtain material, instead they use another material (black) that is sewn to the back of the curtain. If you’ve ever been to Las Vegas - they’re like those blackout curtains that make you question the time of day when they’re closed. These curtains seem to block a bit of sound too but not so much that I’d buy them to block actual sound.I love that my house is cooler in temperature with these curtains in use - it helps lower our electricity bill a bit.Pros:-blocks the light out completely (in areas completely covered by the curtains)-blocks out heat-available in multiple colors-available in different lengths-doesn’t have the weird plastic-like backing-well made-the wrinkles come out when they’re up for a bitCons:-none for meOther things to consider:-you’ll need a sturdy curtain rod to hang these up- if you have/get seasonal affective disorder they might block too much light in the winter.
I’ve had these for many years now. The color is still very vibrant. The black on the back has not been sun bleached. Definitely keeps the room dark. No complaints.
I bought these for our guest bedroom and ordered them again for our dining room. They are great quality, wrinkle free and great value for the money. They are the perfect color and work well. Planning to order more in a different color for our MBedroom.
Very good quality. Only light that comes in is at the top, but that is probably because I have a double rod with sheers under them. I am very happy with them and would definitely purchase again.
THESE CURTAINS ARE GOOD BLACKOUT CURTAINS BUT THAT'S ALL I CAN REALLY SAY THAT'S GOOD. THEY AREN'T QUITE WIDE ENOUGH TO OVERLAP IN THE MIDDLE SO YOU GET A SHAFT OF LIGHT DOWN THE CENTER. THE FABRIC IS TOO SMOOTH AND SHINY AND CLASHED WITH MY QUILT BC IT'S NOT THE SAME DARKER NAVY. OH, AND TAPE DOESN'T STICK TO THE FABRIC SO YOU GET LIGHT COMMING DOWN THE SIDES AND THE CENTER. THEY NEED TO MAKE EACH PANEL 50IN. WIDE INSTEAD OF 40IN. I ENDED UP GIVING THESE AWAY AND FINDING SOME MORE EXPENSIVE CURTAINS THAT ARE A DARKER NAVY AND ARE 50IN. WIDE PANELS. ALSO FOUND SOME GORILLA SUPER STICK TAPE MADE FOR FABRIC. ALL THAT WORKS WELL.
These totally block out the light. Beautiful color, purple. Love them !
