Beautiful rug, lays flat, no slip and no scent

I recently decided to glow up my master bedroom in farmhouse colors of blue and white, and saw this rug listed and thought it was quite attractive for a reasonable price. I was curious about the quality, because I have ordered a few washable rugs – sometimes they are wonderful, and sometimes very cheap.As an aside, I had also ordered two rugs for the side of my bed, but not from the same seller or manufacturer. However, from the pictures, it looked like it would match color wise.I am pleased to say that the quality exceeds the cost in my opinion. It’s about the same standard as ones I’ve bought from Wayfair over $100. And it is absolutely gorgeous in person, in fact it looks like a set with the two other bedside rugs that I purchased. I floated around for quite a while comparing the two visually because it honestly looks like the same exact rug. I was absolutely delighted to discover that.As with all the washable rugs, it’s not one that has any real pile to it, they really don’t seem to make a lot of that kind anymore. But it is a very pretty print, padded enough to be soft under foot, and lovely with my existing colors. It also fills the space quite nicely at the end of my bed and honestly, I cannot be happier with the purchase. It smoothed out fantastically with zero folds or bends. It is also very nonslip, so there’s no need to put an extra nonslip layer between it and a hardwood floor.This rug did not smell when I opened it either, which is something I’m always concerned about when ordering products off of Amazon. Usually those items will air out in a day or so, but for those with very sensitive noses, you’ll be pleased to know this is not an issue.Of course I haven’t tried to actually wash the rug yet, but just based on pure aesthetics, I’m thrilled with this and will give it five stars.

Lightweight rug that's working well for its intended purpose

This rug is soft and comfortable to walk on and lie on. It is thin, but seems durable, and it feels good underfoot. It doesn't seem to slide around excessively much, but I have taken steps to secure it with carpet tape for safety anyway. So far, so good. I've put it in my photo studio on the bare wood floor to dampen sound for those rare moments when I record audio and/or video. It seems to work well for that purpose.As for the color and pattern, it's a pretty blue with a pleasing pattern. As is the case with most inexpensive rugs of this genre, it is printed rather than dyed, so the color does not go all the way down to the backing. This is not an issue where I'm using it and does not affect its intended purpose. It looks quite nice where it is, even though it isn't an expensive Persian carpet. (For that matter, I didn't pay for one of those, either. The price was right on this one.) Washability is more important to me than illusions of wealth and grandeur in this particular instance, as sometimes I get a bit clumsy with my coffee cup when I'm focusing on a project and not watching where I swing my elbows.

Soft, beautiful, practicle

This rug is definitely much softer than I expected, especially for something that’s completely machine washable. While it’s not thick or super plush like a shag rug, the lighter profile actually makes a lot of sense. In fact, I think it works better for high-traffic areas in the home, particularly when you’ve got kids and dogs constantly running through the space. Because it’s lower in pile, it doesn’t trap dirt as easily, and it feels more practical for everyday living.Another thing I really appreciate is how well it stays in place. Super Soft!

This is an absolutely beautiful area rug. It's super soft.It's also thick enough so it doesn't slide easily, but if you're not going to secure or anchor it by having it under a table or furniture, I would suggest you get some anti-slip padding for good measure.It was vacuum packaged well, but doesn't smell like some new rugs do and it wasn't creased or anything and laid out flat when I unpackaged it. My kitties love rolling around on it too and because the pile isn't too thick it should be very easy to vacuum pet hair off of it.
