Beautiful, but not blackout.
I bought these curtains because we moved and my daughter now has more windows in her room. I had previously been using the twill blackout curtains from Pillowfort at target, and they are truly blackout. However, they no longer make the color we already have, and I didn’t want mismatched curtains. When these arrived I was surprised at how nice they felt (and well made! No crooked seams or loose threads). Almost like a lightweight microsuede. They’re also relatively thin, and not lined like blackout curtains typically are. My phone’s flashlight shines through them pretty well (I’d estimate ~50% of the light gets filtered). For reference, no phone light makes it through the pillowfort curtains I’d been using before. Time will tell if they truly block enough light to help my kiddo sleep in, and due to the thinness, I don’t think they’re very thermal. Overall I think I’d like them more in a living space rather than a sleeping space. They are quite wrinkled, but I think a quick steam would relax them!

Lovely curtains!
I have three very large west facing windows. The view is lovely, but the radiant heat can be intense in the warmer months. These arrived very fast. I hired someone to install the rods (also ordered from Amazon). The ability to block the heat is very noticeable. Because I suck at measuring, I miscalculated how many panels I needed for the big window in the middle, so there are four panels there. The two pair of panels for the side windows arrive tomorrow, thanks to Prime. The pop of color adds a nice touch to my living room. They are a big recommendation from me.The rods are Niviy and the tie backs are magnetic Porlau tie backs. Both were also purchased on Amazon.
