Soft, durable, and doesn't budge once in place!

I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The carpet is shipped folded and compact and I expected that to make flattening an issue and for it to be flimsy and subpar. Once unfolded and layed out it took less than an hour for it to be completely flat. No funny smells to the fabric! It has a rubbery grip bottom so once It was on the wood floor it doesn't budge. For me no Velcro or underpaid sticky was needed! The edges are rolled and stitched in so it has low profile edging that doesn't trip you. The print is subtle but beautiful. We chose this fo our playroom because I wanted something cute that my boys would not trip over. It's also incredibly soft! Like minky type soft. For the price you cant beat the quality and functionality of this rug especially for the size. This is the 8x10.

Not beige. Green.

The product image of the “beige” color looked rather more like a pale green, but I thought perhaps it was my monitor. It wasn’t. This isn’t a beige rig with green leaves; it’s a pale green rug with darker green leaves. So be aware.Washable rugs like this tend to be rather thin, which makes sense. It has to be able to fit into the washer; it’s not a thick wool rug. In that sense, it’s much like others of its type. The backing is flexible and has a little “stick” so it’s not slipping around on our floors too much.It takes a bit to lay flat, but after a few days it has mostly relaxed.One advantage of the thinness is that if you have the edge under the front legs of a piece of furniture—but not the back—it’s really not thick enough to throw anything off balance. The texture is velvety.I’ve resigned myself to the color. It’s just not what I expected, and I would have chosen differently if I had known. Still, my eyes are getting used to seeing it and I’m starting to think it looks good even if it’s not what I wanted.It does vacuum well. I mention this because I have another washable rugs that wants to suck up right into the vacuum cleaner, so this is better quality in that way.The mushroom pattern is charming, I’ll say that. I do wish they had a warm brown version.

Budget friendly area rug

Overall, I am happy with this rug and I think this is a great rug if you are on a budget. The rug is folded in the packaging and it takes a few hours to completely flatten out. When I first opened it, I noticed that some of the rug design was more white looking because it wasn't laying completely flat. But after a few hours, the entire rug smoothed out and the design looked very nice. The rug is fairly thin, and it feels almost like a blanket. But it does have an additional layer on the bottom to keep it from sliding around, which makes it thicker. The nice thing about this is that you could easily throw it in the wash to clean it because it is malleable and not super thick. Despite the thinness, it does feel durable and the rug itself is very soft. The stitching also seems to be secure. I initially opened this in my kitchen just to test it out, but I have since left it there because it feels way nicer than walking on our cold tile. For the price, I think this is a good deal and you can cover a large area fairly cheaply.

Cute design, so-so grip, nice reinforcement on corners

As the title states, the design for this rug is great - modern looking, whimsical, artsy. I wish there was more grip coating on the bottom…it is a thin rug, as these styles typically are, so a little extra is needed. I tend to Velcro tape my rugs down so truly not an issue for me but just wanted to give a heads up for the review. One thing I really appreciate is a little extra stitching for reinforcement on the corner edges. The rest of the selvedge is tight with no fraying. A great rug for the size and a price.
