I had very low expectations BUT didn't want to spend a lot on a rug for a small living room. The rug exceeded my expectations. I love the design, it is thin but I had a pad underneath. Overnight I placed weights on the 4 corners and now the corners lay flat. I like the feel of the rug. Yes, I would buy again.
This rug was very pretty, but I had to return it because the checker patterned part was dizzying. If you aren’t sensitive to stuff like this, it’s a great rug from what I could tell. But if you know what it feels like to look at certain patterns and feel a migraine, just be aware.I have 5 other Jonathan Y rugs and love them all, and this one looked so cool, so I was sad to return it.
I really like this rug, it is heavy duty. I am using it in my office to protect my carpeting.I ordered the blue and it looks just like the listing picture.It is substantially made and cleans up well. My dog tested that when he spread chocolate protein powder all over it. I did use a carpet cleaner on this but it all came out. Because of the thickness/stiffness this could never be put in a washer to wash. The listing states to spot clean or professionally clean so I am not sure I would use this outside where it will get really dirty.This vacuums easily. I have used both a regular vacuum and a cordless vacuum.Overall, I am happy with the rug and the way it looks.
I have two Jonathan outdoor rugs already, and they really wear like iron…even in the stormiest or wettest elements. So I ordered this rug without hesitation in the 5x8 size.I love this rug as much as the two I already bought before. Why?1) it doesn’t lay flat immediately BUT IT DOES after about 24-48 hours with no fuss or ironing or anything difficult. Just set it out in warm sun, and let the fibers do their thing. The rug will sit well very soon after doing this.2) The fibers are really durable. I’ve returned outdoor rugs immediately after discovering how a footprint can stain the fabric in the first minute. This rug isn’t like that. And if by chance you find a footprint staining this rug, dry brush it first. And if you need to damp wipe it with a damp cloth, do so fearlessly. Stain remover also is effective (common brands of spray on stain remover).3) The photos of the rug in the listing are close dead ringers for what you’ll get. Trust the images to be very close to the product you receive. Of course, nothing is quite ever identical IRL to computer images. And still, this is very close. A beautify, simple, minimalist design that looks like classic, modern abstract art.4) What else to say? It’s priced very fairly for what quality you will receive. And even better, it’s not that new tangled plastic placemat style rug that is out there now as a choice from other manufacturers. This is a real fabric that handles the outdoors like a champ.TLDR; Don’t hesitate to order if this is a style you lean into. It won’t disappoint you with its grit, great quality and simple beauty.
