This rug is WONDERFUL! (Especially for the price) A well-made, thick, and reasonably priced jute rug is seemingly impossible (coming from someone who has made too many attempts over the years)It’s ultra thick but also soft- giving it a very high end look and feel.
Its a great carpet. Warm and comfortable. So far it seems durable and able to handle traffic. It is what it says it is--a course woven natural carpet, which means the jute separates at times so you can see the floor underneath at times and it has visible knots and frayed exposed ends occasionally visible. So if you don't expect perfection its a carpet particularly suited for heavy traffic areas exposed to dirty shoes. I recommend using a thick underpad with it--I used a 1/2 thick one made gave it a much more comfortable foot feel.Be aware that it does seem to shed a lot of fibers at the beginning although that seems to be dropping off over time.

Wanted to love this rug as it’s soft and pretty but the quality is just not there. It came with one unraveled spot, I decided to live with it, but in a few short weeks so many more spots have come unraveled. Unfortunately I’m outside the return window, but I wouldn’t recommend this rug.
At first glance, the rug is beautiful. However, it unravels at the ends. I purchased 2 of these. waited at least a year to give it an honest review. One is under my dining table ( use the dining room about 4 times a year) and the other is in my sitting room. The one in the dining room is ok as I don't go in there that often. Once I saw that the ends (the rug is 8X10 so the ends would be the 8') un raveling, I sat on the floor and figured a way to tuck the pieces that unravled under the rug. The one in the sitting room needed more work. Ever so often I would have to tuck the loose pieces under. I love the look of the rug, but not the inconveniece of constantly fixing the ends.
