Make sure you get a rug pad if you're going to use it indoors!

This JONATHAN Y TSN400-A 8 Allison classic Beach stripe and monstera leaf black outdoor/indoor rug is great!First caveat is that if you're planning on using it indoors, which the item does say that you can do, definitely get a rug pad. This rug is deadly made primarily to be used outdoors. I wish I had paid more attention to the pictures because you can clearly see that it's going to be very rough on both sides. Obviously, this has to be the case if you are going to be using it outdoors.My intended uses indoors but I did like the design and I did like the sizing of 8x10' so I ended and it up trying it out.First thing to know, is that because this rug is so large, and it is an outdoor rug, it comes shrink wrapped in heavy duty plastic. It's going to be really long so if you have to transport it somewhere, right make sure you get some help. The weight is actually not that bad, it's only about 20 lb when it's rolled up.Once you unrolled the rug, make sure that you put something down on the edges so that it can start to flatten out. I didn't have any creases because it came rolled. That was quite nice. Some of the other rugs that I have, although be it smaller sizes, come fold it up so you have creases everywhere.With this type of heavy duty outdoor material, as well as the rolled aspect basically prevented any creases from forming. Still, I wanted the edges to sit down.Definitely get a rug pad that matches your flooring so that this rug can sit on it comfortably without scratching your floors. I have lamb in it but I don't think it will be a significant issue with the rug pad.Overall, the design is quite nice, and the value for the size is wonderful.Ultimately, if I have to get it again, I would only get it if I was going to be placing this in an outdoor setting, this would be great. Somewhere like in the garage, or at the backyard, things like that. Right now, I have it indoors and I did get a thicker rug pad to make sure that it is comfortable when I'm walking on it.I haven't needed to clean it yet, but the instructions say that you can wash it outside with a hose. Obviously, this is not something that you can throw in the washing machine, so keep that in mind.

So beautiful!! And works well outside

Wow this is amazing I love it so much!!! I love the rectangle shape instead of all the abstract shapes because it fits perfectly right underneath our pop up canopy! It’s amazing quality and looks beautiful. I would recommend this especially for outside because the material is more of a bamboo feel and not a fabric rug. It rained the day we set it out and although the rug did get wet, the next day it dried quickly (not all the way though). You can put this inside as well, but we use it for our patio! 100% recommend this company for their rugs!
