Super easy to install and I did run my steamer over them because they were wrinkled. No the fabric was not messed up by the steam. During the day, they let in just the right amount of light when opened. When I close them, they give me the privacy I need. I wouldn’t get the light color curtains if you want total black out. They will not give you that. I purchased the black, cream, and brown-gold colors, which goes perfectly with my color scheme. The fabric feels soft and luxurious, and the multi-tone design adds a stylish touch to the space. The included tiebacks is an added bonus and each curtain comes with them. EXACTLY what I needed for my bathroom!

Functionality: I recently moved into my new home and am currently in the process of upgrading my bathroom fixtures, including light fixtures and faucets. I was in need of decorative shower curtains and bath curtains. After weeks of searching, I couldn’t find any velvet curtains. Then, I had an idea: why not buy window curtains instead? I really like these drapes. The color is just beautiful. They keep the bedroom dark at night. And they keep the cold out -- I couldn't believe how cold the sliding glass door was but the drapes kept that at bay. They are very wrinkled (imprint of the grommet in the drape from being folded for shipping) but I have not tried any wrinkle removers, steamer or even throwing them in the dryer. Trying to figure out which to do. They are so pretty I'm getting over the wrinkles. I bought 92" length and they puddle beautifully. Very full. Hang well. Very soft material. I just need to deal with the wrinkles but still they are lovely!!!!!
