I always keep runner rugs in our hallway and kitchen and area rugs everywhere else, since we have faux hardwood floors and both my dog and I slip on them. I ordered this rug mainly for its apparent durability and long lasting construction, and it has both those features to a 10-star rating. It's 10' x 3' and is really meant more for offices and such like, but it's doing a wonderful job in our hallway, and my dog loves it, so it must be comfortable. It feels good on my feet.This arrives all rolled up tightly in a black sack, very well packaged, and I've never seen a more durable but still pretty rug. It's gray-black on the top, and the ridges in the top of the rug make it look less industrial. This would work great if you have a long kitchen, too, as it's easy on your feet.My robo-vac went over this rug just fine last night, and it's easy to clean. It's supposed to pick up dirt, dust, debris, and moisture from shoes, and it passed all our testing last night. It's 0.3" high, not a high-pile rug, and it's made of high quality polyester and non slip rubber backing. If it doesn't slip and slide when a 95-pound Labrador lands on it at full speed, it isn't going to slide, and it didn't.I had put this in the hallway to straighten up - it didn't need much - but intended to move it into my kitchen when it got all its wrinkles out. Unfortunately, or fortunately for him, my dog saw a great opportunity to claim this for himself while it was still stretched out in the hallway, and it was love at first sight, at least for the dog. We haven't heard from the rug yet.This would be excellent in an office or business, and it would be wonderful in a lake house with all those wet feet and wet kids. It's definitely a top quality rug, tough, and should outlive us all unless you have a lake house with wet kids and wet feet.I highly recommend this product to anyone, for business or home or vacation home use or anything else. It's made of high quality polyester and non slip rubber backing, and it's the most durable, toughest rug I've ever seen, and I've been through a few. This is an excellent product that does just what it says it will do and does an even better job than it says it will.What's more, my personal bargain sniffer, the new owner of the rug, my Labrador, gives this rug four paws up and one tail up, and he informed me just now that there's a 10% off coupon on this rug. Believe me, it's worth it.
