I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I would recommend these to anyone in a heartbeat!Truthfully, I was hesitant about the weight of this product when I first unboxed it considering the fact that I was going to have to use it on drywall, BUT to my surprise, the floating bookshelves are durable and sturdy! Despite the fact that the shelves are a tiny bit heavy, it wasn't an issue because the product comes with drywall hangers that you use to secure the products thoroughly. So even with the additional weight of the books, all is secured! You will need a hammer and power drill to assemble the products onto the wall but it was SUPER quick and easy to do!I am absolutely IN LOVE with how these shelves made my little home library look! They were not only cute wall decor, but it saved me space considering the fact that my room is a bit small.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I believe this is my third set of these floating shelves, and I love the look and style they add to a room. Me and my partner have a few hundred books between us and that translates to three full bookshelves and small stacks of books whevere there's s space. These bookshelves allow me to display books in a unique way and showcase certain books that I want to highlight. Installation is strughtfoward and can be accomplished with pretty basic hand tools like a drill, hammer, tape measure, level, and pencil. If you know what you're doing it takes about six minutes to install each bookcase. Be aware, the first book in the shelf needs to be a hard cover to support the weight. Simple design, I'll be back for more.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I saw these being advertised years ago, and I finally found the perfect excuse for purchasing this product. I couldn't bring myself to add another piece of furniture to my room, so I decided to use up some of the negative space on my walls. My expectations for these shelves were pretty low. I questioned whether or not they would hold against what feel like hollow walls. However, these shelves were pretty awesome. I caution you to reserve them for your lighter books, particularly those that are hardback. If you are looking to hang a lot of thick or wide books, this product is probably not for you. Either way, I would recommend a stud finder to best contribute to sturdiness as well. In conclusion, these floating shelves are a great solution for creating space in smaller rooms. Much cheaper and easier than putting together a bookshelf, I might add!
