This is my new favorite candle sent. This thing is absolutely everything. It said it was and more. I think it has some actual schmoozing magic to it somehow yeah if you were thinking about getting this for somebody don’t think anymore just buy one.
This was a great little surprise from my girlfriend when she was down. The size is perfect so it doesn’t take up a lot of space, and the message was very touching. The scent is a little perfume-y, but it’s more fruity once you light it.
This candle arrived well packaged and protected. I'm not particularly crazy about the foam stuff that is inside the packaging as cushioning but I does undoubtedly protect the candle within. I can say this because my packaging arrived quite banged up, which is no reflection on this candle or the company, at all. I thought it was worth mentioning though because I truly expected I was going to open the package to find the candle damaged in some way. There are definitely occasions when subverted expectations are a great thing. Yay!As to the points I most appreciate about this candle, first the jar is lovely. The matte pink is such a refreshing change from the usual matte black to less frequent white. The lid is also a break from the norm. Instead of a metal, screw-top lid this has a wood lid that "presses" on and seals with a "gasket". Fragrance is also another way this candle makes itself stand out among its peers. Instead of the standard lavender fragrance that almost every one of these smaller jar candles has this one adds just enough vanilla to set itself apart..I really am quite pleased and would happily give this as a gift to any woman in my life for just about any occasion. It is also a great gift for no occasion at all, just to say, "I see you.".
