Design is intended to optimize user experience with a product. This one does exactly that. I never do reviews but this product is so simple but so smart. For those who say it burns sticks faster, this is true but only when the sticks are upside down. The product comes along with a peg to put the stick inside the glass and burn it right side up. This method keeps sticks from burning too fast and it controls the mess that incense leaves behind. I love this product and I’m happy to have it.

Great up to 8" Incense!

I was not only looking for a less messy holder but also one that could hold my New Age Imports, Inc. Premium incense. These hand-rolled incense do not have thin or long stems, which make it challenging for standard incense holders. This holder works really well with this product. However, because of the length of the bar, it cannot support my 11" incense. It works well for the 8" and below incense. I cannot use the smaller holder, which also comes with the set because it is too light to support the New Age incense. It can, however, support the really thin average incense that many people use. I just prefer my thick hand-rolled Palo Santo ones. It is also easy to dispose the ashes. I just dump and keep going. No fuss. Love it.
