Good smelling candles, however the casing could be more durable

I purchased these candles to try out in my bedroom, as I typically use an incense warmer. Upon opening the box, one of the candles was shattered. Only the outer layer was though, so I don’t think it will have an effect on the candle itself. When I tried to remove the second candle, it also immediately broke. I’ve been able to get the other two out just fine. So not good in terms of quality so far.The scents themselves are quite nice, not overwhelming yet noticeable. I can’t really describe the scents, but they do smell nice and make the room feel fresher. There is quite a bit of wax on the candle so I suspect it will last quite a while, and there’s 4 of them so this likely could last a month or two depending on usage.Overall, these could definitely be more durable, the outer casing is quite nice for display, but it breaks quite easily. However, the scents of the candles make up for the lack of durability. Pretty good product overall.

Wonderful aroma and perfect for gifting

I initially got this for gifting, and it comes in a lovely box that makes wrapping it a breeze. However, after trying the brown one with its delightful vanilla and cream-like fragrance, I chose to keep them all for myself. I'll be buying another set just for gifting.I haven't had the chance to try the other three yet, but based on the scent and excellent quality of these candles, I'm confident I'll be pleased with the rest. Overall, these soy candles have a fantastic scent and are of top quality, plus they look great.

Its ok.

Well, as you see on the picture, it came broken. One candle out of 4. Because packaging is part of product and to get product in most safe and attractive way to end user, the packaging is one of failure here. Once you see package, you would think, oh it packed so tight and well, but.....there is no cushion to absorb any impact. The package was thrown to deck and the candle cup is so fragile, no wonder it was broken. So here is the thing manufacturer should think about.Maybe to replace candle cup to something less fragile.Another thing is burning time. Haha, it is being claimed it is 60 hours! No way! From start to finish it was gone in 6 hours and another one last for 7 hours 15 min. Total misleading.Scent. Yes it does have scent but very, very light. In big open floor area you probably need to light 4 of them in same time to smell aroma.Price per candle is good. Same as you would pay in dept store, but....if you need to light up 4 of them in same time. It would be too expensive for 6 hours of aroma.Your choice.

Makes a very nice gift, even if for yourself!

I love making gift baskets, especially around the holidays so I ordered these Ikeda scented candies as potential item to include in a basket or two. However, these candles come in one box and are not individually wrapped within the box so I decided to keep all for my own use. These candies are also smaller than I thought they would be.I prefer using candle warmers to keep the scents of candles going long beyond their burn time. So far I’ve warmed the green candle (floral tea accord) which was very light and I barely smelt anything at all. I then moved onto warming the black candle which is the oriental floral woody accord scent and that smells AMAZING! Every time I walk into my guest room the pretty scent meets me at the door.I’m looking forward to using the other two scents, but am truly enjoying the black candle.These candies would make really nice gifts since the box is pretty and giftable. Caution though; if buying as a gift and you open it, you may end up keeping it.
