Best investment we’ve ever made

This is a great rug, it’s actually softer than I’d imagine but it’s exactly like what you see when you walk into a business and it’s the first thing you wipe your feet on.We live on the 4th floor of an apartment complex and unfortunately for us, we have a balcony that is wood slats and it was built rather poorly as far as aesthetics, when we moved in there were a lot of loose screws on and in between the boards and some screws sticking out of the wood, and some of the heads weren’t flush with the surface.Not to mention we have a puppy who has knee problems so we have a little pet loo for easy bathroom breaks and sometimes she’d have accidents on the wood, so couple that with the screws it was extremely off putting to want to enjoy our balcony.We had been looking everywhere for a decent rug that would be close to fitting the desired dimensions without breaking the bank. Not just to counteract the loose screws and counteracting staining the wood with pet accidents, but to transform our balcony into something cozy and pleasant to look and chill in.I’ve read a lot of reviews about how it’s cut from a roll and shipped, which it is you can obviously see the ends are clean cut and don’t have the rubber edge. HOWEVER… that’s not a big issue for me and it makes sense that it’s a decent rug and customizable for whatever you may need it for, of course it’s on a roll.I will say though I’m a little upset that if it’s this custom as far as dimensions I would have liked to have seen more accurate measurement options. But I’m not complaining too too much, I’m still very happy with how this rug turned out.I got my rug in the size of 6ft by 11ft, it was the closest I could get without the edges rolling up against the wall and looking weird, it covered the majority of our balcony and like I said earlier it’s softer than I imagined it to be it’s not nearly as rough as it looks.Needless to say if you don’t necessarily care about it being pretty or if all 4 edges have the rubber edge on them then this is a great rug for you. We have no doubt she’ll have an accident on it but it serves all the purposes that we bought it for.

Purchased for entry way - Good for Seattle rain!

I purchased this for the entrance of my daughter's apartment. With the Seattle rain, she needs a rug that people can wipe their feet before entering the apartment. The edges do not curl up. Due to the grooves in the mat, it's difficult to vacuum. I've found that the easiest way to clean it, is to shake it outside. It's a nice size and does it's job. It's good quality. I'd buy again.

Nice, Sturdy, and Vacuums Well -- Only One Complaint (see below)

The edge (the width) is not finished, although both sides of the length are finished with plastic. I don't see evidence so far that it will ravel (I don't think that it would ravel easily anyway), but I'm pleased so far. I have to vacuum it daily because it's a dark color that sits inside the house at a doorway; however, it vacuums well, and I think that if I keep it clean and vacuum it daily (or every other day), it will stay clean and beautiful for many years. - KP HARWELL

Poor Quality & Stinks

I thought for the price we were paying the rugs would be much more heavy duty. The black rubber piece does not go all the way around the rug. The rug reeks of chemicals and the edges won't fold down. The gray color looks much darker on Amazon than in person. In person it's a very light almost bluish gray. I am returning the item and unfortunately will have to pay for the shipping. Very disappointed:(
