Same order but drapes look entirely different.

While I would like to give a lower rating, I don't want to cause undue stress. These drapes have a beautiful fabric and color. We initially ordered 4 sections (two 72 inches wide and two 84 inches wide) in December for a daylight basement. They looked decent but had no definition in the pleats. They looked rather messy when open or closed. But we figured we got what we pay for. At least they blocked the light and drew back with the original cord rods as did the ones we replaced. Just kind of random in the folds.In January we ordered two more 84-inch-wide drapes for a remodeled bedroom. We just put them up today. One was just like the ones we purchased in December in that the pleats were undefined and when closed or open look really messy. But here's the shocker. The other one was perfect. It was well defined when opened or closed. It looked like what we originally expected in December. So, we know that the manufacturer has the capability of doing it right. We are not sure how to make them look the same since they are next to each other. We are going to try to steam the messy one and train them (saw articles on the internet on training) or find some drapery ironing company. We wish the product was better and ironed. Photo shows the good drape on left with nice pleats and messy undefined drape on right going around the corner. Note that we plan to cut in corner and sew a hem on each piece on cut. Horrible strong smell that will not go away

These curtains come with a horrible stinky factory smell that will not go away. I've had them hanging in a bedroom for over a week with fans blowing on them, have aired them outside in the sun/breeze for 24 hours and also used Febreeze fabric and the stink is still there. Will be sending these back. They honestly look very low quality also, nothing like the photos or customer review photos. Perhaps they recently changed production. Do not recommend!
