Beautiful and Well Made!

I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by the quality of this rug. The colors are beautiful, and the top is actually super soft when you step on it. It looks really nice in our living room, and I actually love the way it fits in the space. My biggest complaint with rugs in general is that they slide and they roll at the corners, making them easy to trip over. This one has neither of those issues. There is a really great non-slip backing on it that absolutely does its job well. The rug doesn't move, even when I slide the coffee table across it. Wherever you put it is where it's going to stay, which is fantastic. And it laid flat immediately. Even straight out of the packaging it flattened right out and stayed there, no curls in sight. It actually has a really thin, low profile too, so I haven't tripped on it a single time.Our dogs have started laying under the coffee table because the thing is so soft, and our texture-sensitive ASD kid has started taking her socks off when she sits at the coffee table so she can run her feet across it. Lol. It's a hit with everyone!My only concern is how well it will hold up in the washer since I haven't actually washed it yet. Despite two dogs and three people constantly walking on it, it still looks nice and clean after a week or so in the space. I intend to just spot clean it for now, then I'll throw it in once it needs more than that. If I have any issues, I'll update my review. But I don't expect to. The quality really does seem great, and I'll be unpleasantly surprised if I have any issues.

Thin, beautiful, vintage look

This carpet is huge! I thought I was replacing my old one with the same size, but I guess I was off by a bit. It's almost a room-sized rug (9x12).The colors are soft and beautiful, with a vintage look that I love, and the material on the carpet side is very soft, with a nearly velvet-like feel.It has a backing that has a bit of grip. Not super strong, but as this carpet is anchored by furniture, it won't be moving.It is extremely thin, which is to be expected, and what you want in a washable area rug.My only "thing" is that a rug this size, even very thin, is not going to fit in any home washer. My old one was quite a bit smaller and it didn't fit mine, and I took it to the laundromat. They let me wash it, but gave me some snarls.I fear I won't be able to wash this rug, and with pets, I need to be able to.It's really beautiful for now, and I will enjoy it. The puppies gave the thumbs up for softness!If you don't have kids or pets, this is a great way to warm up an entire room, beautifully.
