Great rug. Not very thick but very nice quality.

This is a great area rug. The size is perfect and it's very well-made. The colors are neutral in beige and gray tones. There is no specific print or design. It's just abstract.The bottom of the rug has like a rubbery texture. It grips well to the hardwood floor and tile. We see no issues with it moving while being walked on or run across by the kids.The top surface is smooth and soft to the touch. It's very comfortable to walk on even in barefeet. It feels almost velour-like. The cool part is, it's water resistant. I poured some water on it to test it and the water literally beaded up and sat there on the surface. I've never seen anything like that before on a rug. So if there are any spills or pet accidents, no worries.The packaging card show it being washing machine safe which is awesome...if you can fit it in your washing machine. I can't but I have a carpet shampooer.I think this rug is great and definitely recommend it.

2x6 Runner Rug Beige Machine Washable Abstract Area Rug Hallway Modern Low Pile:This is a very attractive, light weight, washable area rug. It's about 3/16 inches thick. It lays flat, I have to work at it to get the corners to flip up if I drag my foot over it. It has a non-slip backing and it feels like there is a little foam padding in between the top surface and bottom, so, it absorbs a lot of noise of walking down the hallway. Having a washable rug is a nice feature. It would not lay flat over a carpeted floor, but does lay nicely on vinyl or wood. I will wash it someday and provide an update on whether or not it lays flat.
