Our new apartment has decent wood floors, and, much to the regret of my old and arthritic dog, he has trouble walking on them or standing from a laying position. These fit perfectly in the areas he needs to traverse, and we both are very happy with these well-made and finished runners. They are backed, so there is no slipping or skidding. The beige is a nice color. They were shipped and arrived quickly, and are exactly as described. There are cheaper comparably sized runners, but these look and feel good. Highly recommended, whether you have an old arthritic dog, or just want to cover up an area of floor.

Does what I needed it to do!

Many will laugh, but I bought this as a runner across a wood floor to give two older dogs traction. It is fine for that purpose.The box it came in was small, because the carpet is thin. The backing keeps it from slipping/moving around on the wood floor. I think it will wear with average durability, so far it has been easy to clean and looks fine, but I’ve only had it a month.

Great brand carpet runner!

These are great rugs! Very well made, non-slip, and lay flat immediately and are the perfect height to fit under entry/closet doors. What's difficult for me is finding the right color for my hallway and having to pack them back up and return them each time they don't work. I have # 3 coming on Sat. and hope this one is the "charm" because not only was this color more expensive, I'm running out of options and return options are now expensive & no longer in a convenient location.

These are Wonderful

I bought two of these runners for my hallway because I have a 140-pound dog who loves to chase my daughter up and down the hallways. I was afraid he was going to throw out a hip or hurt himself in some other way, so I started researching non-skid runners. After reading all the other reviews here on this product, I purchased two for both runs of my hallway. I couldn't be happier.I love the variety of lengths and colors. They definitely stay put even when the dog goes bolting through the house on them. Vacuuming them is a snap, because again, they stay down. I really like the Pebble Beige color.I would (and have) recommend this runner to anyone who is looking for a good quality, stay-in-place runner.

Nicest Simple Rug Ever

I didn’t have any expectations ordering this. I wanted a simple rubber backed rug to prevent my older dog from slipping on our hardwood floors. But... THIS RUG IS SO NICE!!!We have stair treads from Hime Depot and this rug makes them look as cheap and lame as they really are. This rug has slight padding so it’s nice to step on. It’s soft enough for bare feet. The color is neutral without being blah. And also totally work for their intended purpose, protecting my pup. I got two and they’re both great!

Customization is great- but not durable for pets

I was happy to be able to custom order these rugs- being able to control the size was great- so I got exactly the size and shape I needed and for they there aren’t a to. If easy access choices out there. The color is ok, the choices weren’t fantastic but the color that showed up in reality was pretty much what I expected. They feel ok on the feet- nothing luxurious- basic polyester- business type pile. I like that they are edged all the way around, which I wouldn’t have gotten if cut off a roll at a big box store. So those are the basics.The bad: I bought these to cover up some rough areas on our pine floors- the previous owners installed soft pine on the floors, and left huge gaps between the boards, and our dog ripped off a toe nail while playing chase getting it caught in one of the gaps. So—These are great for covering up those long wide pass through areas. I knew these were in for rough use, as the pine flooring has NOT. BEEN. OK. with two German Shepherds- BUT, have had them about a month, and while they are doing the job intended and are protecting the dogs’ feet- they started to get pulls in them immediately. Like minutes after being rolled out. 😳 Now both rugs are literally covered in pulls, which is hard to record with the camera, but it’s bad. My large decorative area rug—which is in the same room and subject to the same rambunctiousness— is fine, no pulls at all and it’s been here longer by a couple of months, so this carpet is not a great investment if you have pets that run around your house, as these won’t stay looking nice for long. I am ok with that as they are a stop gap measure until we can afford to redo our flooring, but I was disappointed that they didn’t hold up long. Hope this review is helpful.
