Pics..before and after!My original runner needed a pad underneath so it would stay in place. So it was very thick and moved anyways.The new runner has a rubber backing and stays in place and looks so much better! And it is longer also! Love it!!I replaced a runner in my hallway also that had hardwood floors. The rubber backing isa Godsend! The carpets are well made and have a nice boarder!

I wanted a runner to span between our side door (most heavily used entrance) and the top of the staircase to our basement. If something is laying on the floor our two dogs feel compelled to lay on top of it. So I guess it's like a dog mat too. They like to chew their nyla bones on it and play around the rug. You can see in the photos that there's an opening to another room beside the rug. We needed a rug that would not easily move and become a tripping hazard as we or the dogs round the corner from the hallway on the other side. Our last rug (a looped rug for $15) was slowly degraded by the dogs nyla bones. The bones get rough and the rug was basically Velcro...you can imagine. So after that experience, we know we can't have looped rugs.Ok, given what we needed in a rug, this one fits the bill. It has been in use 1 week so far during a cold, snowy, muddy PA winter, in a house with two rambunctious young dogs. It is sturdy but laid flat immediately after being unrolled. I have adjusted it only once so far (last rug made it's way to the next room...)First photo is when I initially laid out the rug. I noticed some lines of darker color on the rug and thought it was just the nap of the rug and they would fade out with use.Next photo is after 1 week use, no cleaning done to it. The dogs had a rope toy at one point so I think that's what the lint and whatever is.Next photo is after I used the carpet attachment with beater bar on my vacuum, on low setting (on half the carpet). Regular floor attachment wasn't enough.Last photo is after full vacuuming. Good as new. There are still 2 darker lines on the rug, but I really think they'll go away after more use.4 stars because it's durable, doesn't slide, easy to vacuum, but it's not as aesthetically pleasing as I would like. But all the cute rugs would probably last a month so I was being realistic and bought this one.
This runner is perfect for my kitchen. It's a great perfect Navy color. The edges are finished and the size was perfect. It does attract white dust bunnies but I knew that when I purchased a deep Navy runner. Still love it!
Product came as described as a no slip rubber bottom and this rug does not move around whether we walk on it with our boots or the dogs are walking on it it stays put which is fantastic. Only downside which does not bother me because I vacuum regularly, is that you can see the dirt really well on dark colored rugs. Outside of that it’s soft under your feet and does the job really well!
Exactly what it says. Was able to lie flat immediately. Great quality.
This is a beautiful rug but my cats hair sticks to it. The rug is like a magnet for the fur.
