beautiful glow
these lanterns are beautiful & cut out with intricacy, the perfect size to hang in a dark hallway or have on a dresser. they are sturdy & not rechargeable, taking 3 aaa batteries. i appreciate the lanterns aesthetically, however one note i was less excited about is the actual lighting on the interior. it's not adjustable & it's a small string of those very common thin small battery lights on wire. this means that the lighting isn't super bright - more light ambient glow, which is fine. however, in one of the lanterns, the lighting wire is bunched up at the top, & it's impossible to get at it to pull the lighting through the lantern itself. additionally, while the photo shows a distribution of the glow, in person the lighting is obvious & appears slightly cheap. these lanterns would be better served by a different kind of lighting function (a rechargeable candle?) or even a way to replace the lighting. still find the items beautiful and functional, just need some slight improvements.

These are pretty lanterns. I do wish the twinkle tights inside of them were a bit more than they are, but it still adds a nice ambience. They aren't bright, though, so do nit expect these to provide a ton of light. The size is nice, with one being larger than the other. Both pieces are lightweight and easy to hang. Since they are battery powered, you don't have to worry about cords, either. The gold is more of a "green gold" than a "yellow gold" which is fine. Just noting in case you are trying to match them to something. Work great!
