I put it in a small shadow box (Velcro on the bottom of the jar and box) and tissue paper in the jar (the couple will remove the paper and replace with sand, etc.) and a picture/postcard of their destination. I also added a few stickers, the kind used for scrapbooking.

Great For Memories!
My husband and I brought sand and a few tiny shells home from the beach after our honeymoon and it's been sitting in a baggy for years. I was excited to get this glass keepsake jar in order to display it. The glass is clear without imperfections, sturdy, and the cork fits perfectly. I plan to purchase another for my son, who is getting married next year as this keepsake jar will make a great, inexpensive gift for their memories as well.

A nice gift for a happy couple getting ready to go on a honeymoon
I selected this jar because my son is getting married and their honeymoon will most likely be on a beach somewhere. This will make it easy for them to gather up sand, shells, rocks, and whatever other little things they find to remember their honeymoon by. I wish my husband and I had had something similar! I can also see someone using this to collect little things from a non-beach honeymoon because it's just little enough to tuck away into a suitcase and just big enough to hold little pebbles and things that you might collect.The jar comes in a box that is just right for wrapping. The tie that holds the gold tags comes separate and will need to be put together onto the jar. For some couples, the gift-giver probably will do that ahead of time, but I can see my son wanting to do that himself. The cork is secure, though it might be a good idea for everything to be glued together once the couple comes back from the honeymoon with their souvenirs. The glass is not thin - it's pretty substantial, so no worries about it breaking in a suitcase. This would look really nice being displayed on a shelf for many years after the honeymoon. The price was reasonable and the value is good. I think this is a good gift for a couple getting married and going on a honeymoon.

Something I Didn’t Know I Needed
We were married 4 years ago in Jamaica, and not knowing what for, I brought a bag of sand home with us. It’s been in my closet since then, when I suddenly saw this item on Amazon. It’s perfect! The size is bigger than I expected, I had about 2” of sand in the bottom of a regular sandwich baggie and it fit like it was destined for this vessel, lol. I didn’t use the year charm, although I was surprised it came with a 2025 & a 2026. I thought that was a good touch. The only con was threading the hemp through the charm, which I already knew from prior experience would be difficult. I pulled out my sewing kit though and used a needle threader after trying and failing several times. Overall this is perfect for those sentimental enough to keep grains of sand and I imagine would be a good gift for newlyweds.

This little thing is darling. I used it to put little rocks in from the ground in the place that we got married and so I am chipped off the honeymoon part and just put our wedding date on it and I absolutely love it. I put it on a special shelf in our house and love how it looks
