These curtains are a great weight and color. They’re very soft and seem to be of good quality. They’re thick enough that they are room darkening and great for an office. I did wash them when I received them and they held up fine, but I did lay them flat to dry. They are a little wrinkly, so I’ll probably take a steamer to them eventually, but you can’t really see the wrinkles when the curtains are open anyway.
These curtains are heavy, thick, and amazing to look at and touch. They feel like real velvet and they're holding up wonderfully in a house with two kittens that love hiding behind them and a dog who loves to accidentally slam into the glass door these curtains cover. They're good at blocking sunlight, and heat as well, which is important when it reaches 120° out. I've washed and dried them twice now and they're holding up well, no loose strings or frays. I'd buy them again if I needed more! Bonus, they come in resealable zippered plastic bags that I repurposed for unfinished sewing products, and those bags have also held up well to my cat that loves to chew on them.I wasn't paid or compensated at all for this review, I just really do love these curtains that much.
The quality of these curtains are absolutely amazing. I got them for a front window that gets a lot of sun in hopes of lowering our electric bill. The are so beautiful in the front room. Between how soft and velvety they are and the quality of the fabric it has helped keep the sun out during daytime hours.
I can't say enough good things about these! True to color, not true room darkening curtains, but block out a majority of light, and I have noticed thermal protection even though the material doesn't appear to be very thick, and they are durable. I have many cats that have in the past enjoyed so much climbing my curtains, but they leave these alone! The velvet is, however, only on one side, in case that matters to someone. For me its perfect color, length, and fit. The prebuilt loops make using them easy as well, without having to buy separate clips.
Though the material is very thin, it is soft and truly blackout. My only gripe is that the ends of each panel curl up as if they were cut/sewn crookedly at the bottom. Usually something like this would drive me crazy (and it honestly kind of does) but it wasn’t worth returning at the chance of getting two more sets with the same issue. Overall satisfied with the purchase since they serve their purpose in keeping light out of our bedroom, but if you’re looking for something more high-quality, look elsewhere.
Started a return but cancelled after I fell in love with these curtain's. They're beautiful. Soft crush velvet is perfect fabric. After hanging, I immediately noticed the room temperature had changed as these work wonderfully to offset the late summer sun. I'm sure they'll work as well in the winter. These are great curtains! I love mine.I want more of these! I will be ordering another pair of (this blue) because my windows are wide and I like the full wall effect. I need 3 panels per window in this room. I would love to own sets in every color!!!!
