These curtains were a good buy. The description was pretty accurate, except the material is more like satin than faux silk - still very pretty though. The color is gorgeous and I like it blocks some light; the description did warn it would not block as much light compared to darker colors, which I'm okay with. Overall, these are exceptional curtains for a great price.

They are beautiful curtains. After washing and drying, i hung them then steamed them and perfect!
They are nice. Does block out light as my room has a street light that shines in all night long. Be sure to have enough panels as with any curtain you must have enough panels in order for them to work and look right. I have a double window so I purchased 2 sets. I use these on the back side and purchased decorative drapes ( also blackout I wasn’t taking any chances with light coming in.) to put on the front side. Still they would have worked on their on. If I wasn’t putting the decorative ones on I would have bought another set in order for it to be a little fuller.
The quality of these "faux" silk panels are very light and feel just like silk. :) They block out the sun very well...not sure about the cold temperatures yet but looking forward to seeing how they do, as they have no thermal backing like I was expecting although they are marketed as "thermal" as well.
