I killed my real snake plant and wanted to replace it with a maintenance free faux plant. I did place it in a bigger pot and use some artificial moss to hide the original pot. It looks so realistic and beautifully compliments my fireplace hearth!

I bought these to replace the live snake plants I bought from Home Depot for each side of my headboard. They were infested with gnats and I had to throw them away. When these arrived, they were really bunched close together and I was a little disappointed. Especially because they were pretty spendy. I bought some moss and stuffed it in between to spread them out a little bit and now they look very real, and no gnats! The pots they come in are really small and the plants do not come out. I had to cut a gallon milk jug in half and put it upside down in this bigger pot so that I could set the little pot on top of it and it would set up high enough. Once I got everything set up in this bigger pot with the added moss, they definitely look real. Like my husband said, these were expensive, but treating the live plants and our house for gnats was getting expensive and it was a battle I was not winning as long as those live plants were in my house. With these, I don’t have to worry about bugs, or the amount of light, or if they are getting enough water. I took off one star because I had to add the moss and the pot they come in is very small. I definitely think they were worth the money.
This faux snake plant looks very real. I was totally taken aback. I ordered spanish moss to put in the pot I had in my garage. It looks perfect. P. S. I don't have to water it, repot it or worry about bugs....win-win, no?
