Pretty Spring Garland

Springtime is near, and this pretty garland will definitely dress up your home or exterior. There is six feet of floral vine in this garland. It comes wrapped tightly, and when you unwrap it, you'll need to carefully extend and fix all the little leaves and flowers. There is a good variety of flowers, including lavender, sprigs of eucalyptus and lavender. Some of the leaves are velvet to the touch, and there's some ivy mixed in. It's really pretty and you can make the leaves and flowers as full or as compact as you want. The entire garland is really flexible, and turned into a hook on the end for securing. The leaves are mostly on plastic stems, but the flower sprigs are all wired in different ways, so you can bend and turn the to your desire, to make them look in an attractive display that you like.This would be so pretty draping down a bookcase (I think that's going to be what I try) if you don't have stairs, but I think a great place would be along a hand railing. Or also draped across a mantle or doorway. You can also place it down the center of the table as a beautiful runner.Very pretty piece to decorate your home or garden.

Colorful, Makes a Better Garland than a Wreath

I ordered this garland because the listing said it could be used as a wreath. Unfortunately, the main wire that supports the leaves & flowers isn’t strong enough to retain a circular shape when it’s hung. It simply sags in the middle.The garland arrives in a clear plastic sleeve that compresses everything, so you need to spend a little time fluffing it up by bending the smaller wire stems. One end was shaped into a hook for hanging. When connecting the two ends, the resulting circle is about 21 inches in diameter from wire to wire. Once the little branches and flowers are expanded, the overall diameter from edge to edge is about 27 inches.The sprigs of dark green leaves don’t look realistic at all. They’re oddly shaped pieces of fabric wrapped around a stem. Many of them were folded in the package, and some had fallen off. The ivy, eucalyptus, and holly leaves look natural, but the greenery is generally sparse. The hydrangeas are the only flowers that look real, and the others don’t even resemble the flowers described in the listing. I think the yellow sprigs are supposed to be forsythias, but they don’t look real either. Overall, the garland is very colorful. If it’s draped across a mantle or hung on a wall, it’ll look good from a distance. But I wouldn’t want to stretch it over a dining table, or anywhere it could be closely examined, because it looks too fake.I made my garland into a wreath, and attached some stiff wires to the back with twist ties to retain a circular shape. I like to hang a seasonal wreath on the wall beside our back patio. This one will add a splash of color that’s good from spring through summer. I’ll likely add some silk tulip stems to make it fuller, and some wired ribbon tied into a bow to give it a finished look.I think the price of approximately $30 is a bit high for the dimestore quality of the faux flowers & leaves. It’s possible to find bushy garlands and wreaths with more realistic flowers for that price. The quality of this garland is average, and not really meant for close inspection. It does serve as a good base for adding your own touches to enhance its overall appearance.

Very pretty colors but hard to arrange and a bit flimsy

The colors on this garland are lovely and don’t look unnatural. You definitely wouldn’t mistake them for real flowers, but they imitate the looks, colors and color combinations of a real late spring time flower mix pretty well. The product pictures are also fairly close to what you actually get. I would not put it on a table as a flower arrangement, but from a distance it looks beautiful and helps create a spring ambianceThe garland does arrive very squished and wrinkled and it is a LOT of work to straighten all the leaves and arrange all the flowers (using scissors to curl the leaves slightly really helped with that). Because of the nice and bright colors, I’d say it’s still presentable without this work, but it just looks like it was beaten up by a hurricane or something. Also, the yellow flowers do shed a lot when you try to straighten them and move then around, and green leaves have a texture that attracts the crumbs, so the arrangement can be a very frustrating task. It took me probably an hour to get it to where it is in the pictures and I’ll still have to do more work once I put it where I want it.Quality wise, it’s not the worst I’ve seen but not the best. You can definitely get much more realistic looking and better quality artificial flowers for cheaper if you are willing to make your own arrangement. High end fancy wreaths and garlands that are pre-made and ready to go cost a lot more than $30 though, so this is still not a bad deal. But I can see how comparable quality could potentially be found cheaper.

Cottagecore Perfection

I hate buying artificial flowers because usually they look tacky and they’re impossible to move and shape in the way I want. I desperately wanted to add flowers to my reading chair, but live flowers just weren’t possible when they would need to be changed out frequently. When I spotted the colors in this arrangement I loved them, but didn’t have high hopes. Photos can make almost anything look lovely, but in person these really are so pretty and vibrant without ever falling into tacky or overdone. This six foot arrangement is also filled just enough to look full without being too heavy. It took less than ten minutes to arrange these around my reading chair and the thin wires included in all the greenery allowed me to arrange each piece just the way I had wanted! I am thrilled with this purchase and think these would look beautiful added to nearly any project. I’m currently debating getting another 12ft to add to the tops of windows. Perfect cottagecore flower arrangement!
